Shelley Williamson, MD, is board-certified in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism, and in
internal medicine. She serves patients at the Greater Heights and Main Campus locations of
The Endocrine Center in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Williamson earned her undergraduate and master’s degree at the University of Texas at
Austin, and her medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
She continued at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center at Nashville for her
residency in internal medicine and completed a fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes, and
metabolism at Houston Methodist Hospital.
Dr. Williamson enjoys gardening, weight training, and spending time with her family.

Dr. Williamson did not rush through my appointment. She took the time to review my chart and offered new insight into future treatment. She was thorough and easy to talk to.

Dr Williamson was very professional, informative, & friendly. She listened to my health concerns. She asked me more questions, we discussed my physicians, medications, and developed a plan for our next visit. She went the extra effort to have all the necessary information. She is willing to submit documentation to the insurance company for approval of the injection medication as well as my upcoming spinal surgery. I am confident that will this will speed up my recovery.

My visit with Dr. Williamson was great! She was super knowledgable and did a great job of explaining everything I had questions about. I've been trying to find a provider for a long time for PCOS, and I feel at ease knowing that I've established care with someone I trust.
Dr. Qureshi is great. Takes his time with you and doesn’t rush. The lab person I had didn’t seem to happy…she looked at the list of people she had to draw labs for and said “I guess I’m not going to get a lunch…”. That is my only complaint. Dr Qureshi himself and staff are great.
