I finally found my dentist… I have been searching for a good but also modest dentist for years. I’ve had a couple bad experiences with dentist trying to rip me off, or did not know very well what to do with my problem tooth. I thiShow morenk it’s really hard to find a dentist that sincerely cares and does not overcharge or try to get your insurance money. I decided to give it a try since the reviews sounded promising and I was VERY impressed! It was a hidden gem, located inside a building on the third floor. I went in for a long due dental exam for my problem tooth and cleaning. The moment I went in, at the front desk, the ladies, Natalie and Georgianna, were friendly. I was a bit late trying to find the place, but Georgianna helped on the phone and was nice and friendly throughout. You can feel their calm friendly energy from all of their staff members, including the hygienist Grace and Dr. Hiroshige. Grace was considerate and careful in ensuring that I didn’t feel much pain during my cleaning. She really cares and checks often with me to make sure I am doing okay. I am going back to get my other side cleaned. I got only one side cleaned today because she wanted to make sure I am not sore and uncomfortable with both sides. I appreciated it. Natalie did my X-rays and she has such gentle hands! Usually the X-ray could be a bit unpleasant, but I she really tried to make it quick and good. Finally, Dr. Hiroshige. I told him about my problem tooth and how my previous dentist was not sure what the problem was. He did his quick exam and told me what it was and offered a solution. I had a cracked molar and needed a crown. It was relieving that I can finally get this fixed and just knowing what the problem was. I am definitely coming back and would recommend anyone who is searching a for a good trustworthy dentist!
I found Dr. Hiroshige on Yelp. I heard how skillful and talented he does in his profession. Last week, I had my lower tooth pulled because my former Dentist was so horrible and damaged the root canal that he worked on. Within siShow morex months, it started to hurt and gone back to my former Dentist, all he did was grind the tooth above where it meets the tooth he worked on. Of course, it felt better and relieved for a short time but did not stop after several months later. Of course, the pain got worse a few years later. When I saw Dr. Hiroshige, he took the x-rays and found that it needed to be pulled immediately. The way the doctor performed and operated was very precise and highly skilled the way he performed. After reviewing the tooth he pulled, it was clean and pulled in one piece knowing that it was cracked and split from the top to the bottom, but amazing that it all came out in one piece. It was not broken whatsoever! Right then I knew that I finally found my Dentist. Thank you, Dr. Hiroshige!

Stephen Hiroshige, DDS, is a skilled and compassionate dentist who’s proud to continue his father’s legacy at his general dentistry practice in Gardena, California.
Dr. Hiroshige is a Southern California native who earned his dental degree in 1992 from the accelerated, six-year undergraduate/dental school program at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. He joined his father’s practice immediately after graduating, where he’s continued to provide high-quality and affordable dental care to the residents of Palos Verdes, Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach, Torrance, Gardena, and the surrounding communities.
Dr. Hiroshige is always broadening and deepening his skillset by attending continuing education seminars. He’s completed advanced programs in Invisalign®, endodontics, and a variety of other specialty dental services. He also stays connected to the dental community through active memberships in the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Harbor Dental Society, and the Academy for Excellence in Dentistry.
In his practice, Dr. Hiroshige stresses the importance of preventative care, and is dedicated to making his patients’ smiles functionally flawless and aesthetically stunning. He approaches all of his treatments with an unparalleled degree of compassion, creating a warm and friendly environment that relaxes even the most anxious patients. He also believes that everybody deserves a beautiful and healthy smile and puts that belief into practice by keeping his prices reasonable.
Outside of the office, Dr. Hiroshige likes to spend time with his family. His wife, Grace, is also a dentist, and together they have three beautiful children. He also likes to golf, play tennis, coach soccer, and build model airplanes, and has spent 20 years teaching in the children’s ministry at Gardena Valley Baptist Church.

This is the best Dental practice I have been to. They are thorough, fast and friendly. You can get an appointment pretty quickly. Plenty of parking.

I appreciate Dr. Hiroshige frequently asking if I am okay while he is working on my tooth. It does not hurt when he is administrating the novacaine to numb the gums. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Especially, when I have to transfer to the dental chair and back when i use my wheelchair.

Dr. Hiroshige is a very efficient and personable dentist. Assistant Junko, very friendly and helped me get in/out of my wheelchair to the dental chair. Had extensive work done on 2 teeth & they made sure that I was comfortable. Definitely would recommend Dr. Hiroshige's dental practice to all.
