I had an excellent experience.
Though I have only been with Steve since the beginning of the year, I have known him for quite some time. I find him to be honest and caring in his assessment of my medical issues. He has been very attentive of my health questions, which I am appreciative and has given me good advice as to how to deal with my concerns regarding health issues in my advancing age. Sometimes, a good ear is a miracle cure for someone dealing with the inevitable hazards of "old age"!

Appointment was made and set up within two weeks. That is almost unheard of for doctor’s appointments anymore I’ve been asked to wait six months at Carle. Not only are they quick this is a great place for families. Dr. Skimehorn will listen and give advice without a hitch. Great place to be seen and heard. Five stars.
Dr Stephen Skimehorn is a great Dr. He talks to you to discuss your issues, he listens. He doesn’t rush you to get to his next pt. He gives you all the time you need. I would definitely recommend him if you want a knowledgeable doctor that pays attention asks the right questions and makes you feel listened to.
