Intake with Dr. Arikian went smoothly and was overall quite a lovely experience. One certainly doesn't expect to apply such an adjective in a psychiatric intake appointment context, but here we are. Dr. Arikian was conversatioShow morenal and it felt like I was chatting with someone who was actually responding to what I was saying in a dynamic and relatable manner, rather than a disinterested third party or distant observer.

Thomas Arikian, MD?
My practice integrates evidence-based medication management with supportive, insight-oriented psychotherapy, with the goal of providing the most advanced and effective therapies available today. I believe in the importance of addressing both symptoms and the deeper patterns that shape how we think, feel, and relate to others, tailoring treatment to each person’s unique goals and challenges.
I earned my medical degree from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine and am currently completing my psychiatry residency at Saint Elizabeths Hospital. Through my training, I’ve gained experience treating a wide range of conditions including anxiety, depression, trauma-related symptoms, ADHD, and psychosis.
In my free time, I enjoy playing acoustic guitar, reading literary fiction, and staying active through soccer and snowboarding.
