After leaving Great Falls on Tuesday, staying overnight in Lincoln to avoid the incoming snowstorm , and arriving in Missoula Wednesday, only to be late for my Thursday morning appointment because I got lost in Missoula that morniShow moreng, I found myself upset and ill at ease when I finally arrived. I deeply appreciate the warm reception by everyone. Dr. Murdock consoled me and then set right to work on an extensive exam wherein he took time to explain procedures, ask questions and then deliver his findings and offer his prognosis. Upon my return to Great Falls yesterday, I immediately went from the freeway to the optician to begin the process of having new lenses made. I am looking forward to the "e" meeting in December! I thank each of you for making the Tuesday through Friday effort safe and very worth while. HAPPY THANKSGIVING! My little dog was a great travel companion, too. Warm regards, Janis
Dr Murdock and his staff are always friendly and professional. They have worked remarkably well with our two year old through the entire process of getting glasses and ensuring that she has the proper prescription as her eyes chanShow morege. Dr Murdock is only in Butte one day a month and does an excellent job ensuring that everyone that needs to see him gets to, though this sometimes results in longer in-office wait times and less appointment flexibility.
Todd Murdock, MD, is a friendly and skilled pediatric ophthalmologist on the team of dedicated doctors at Rocky Mountain Eye Center. He works with patients at the practice’s locations in Missoula, Butte, Helena and Hamilton, Montana - primarily seeing patients at the Missoula office.
Dr. Murdock graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He went to the University of Utah School of Medicine in Salt Lake City for his medical degree, and stayed for an internship in internal medicine at the university’s Health Sciences Center. He finished his medical training at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Madison, Wisconsin, where he completed a residency in ophthalmology and a fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology. Dr. Murdock is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
In his practice, Dr. Murdock specializes in pediatric ophthalmology, double vision, and eye alignment problems, and maintains a special interest in strabismus and cataract implant surgery.
Outside of the office, Dr. Murdock enjoys fly-fishing, backpacking, and gardening.

Dr Murdock and his staff are always friendly and professional. Dr Murdock was extremely patient and kind to my child and I. Dr Murdock addressed each of my concerns.

Excellent care, as usual. I especially appreciate the thorough explanation of my tests and exam findings. Although they are busy, I never feel I have been rushed through the process. Dr. Furlong has been truly unique in his caring and dedication.
Dr. Murdock is an excellent ophthalmologist and also a compassionate person with empathy. I have been very pleased with all my interactions with Dr. Murdock and his staff. I have always felt valued with all the doctors I have interacted with at Rocky Mountain Eye Center.
