I have been in search for a new doctor in my area & I am so glad I came across Dr. Lopez. She, unlike other doctors listens to your concerns, provides thorough understanding of everything and what is needed to better the situationShow more. I felt comfortable and not rushed to leave the room. I 10/10 recommend Dr. Lopez, also beautiful office - clean & her nurse Annie was so so sweet! Only negative is the front desk girl - needs to change her attitude and treat patients with more respect. Reason why, I arrived and she thought i was a current patient (i am new) and she basically told me walk to room 1- like where is room 1? Why was I not walked there - as im going to room 1 she than says wait your new patient, sat me outside to than fill out paperwork. If she was organized and prepared for patients of the day she would of known i was new and to do that from the second i walked in. Also, lead your patients- customer service is so important. I did not get her name but coming from a hospitality background, she needs to be better to work for such an excellent doctor.
Ms Yul Lopez took the time to listen with the most interest of how I felt, my thoughts around my symptoms and clearly explained what each result in my lab test meant. From there, clearly explained pros and cons of med options and Show morewe decide together what the best course of action to take to initiate treatment, how it should be monitored by me, and when and how to provide feedback of my monitoring to identify together if corrections to the treatment need considering or not. Very pleased and satisfied. The correct way to treat patients and showing that a doctor appointment is not a race against time. Congrats!!
Yul M. Lopez, APRN, is a skilled family nurse practitioner with the team at Healthstone Primary, serving patients in Pembroke Pines and Davie, Florida. Nurse Lopez brings nearly two decades of experience serving and improving the health outcomes of those in her community.
While Nurse Lopez was born in Havana, Cuba, she arrived in the United States years ago with one goal in mind: to continue in health care and assist patients in their times of need. She completed the registered nurse program at Miami Dade College (MDC) - Medical Campus in 2002 , and worked as a registered nurse at several health facilities across Miami for over a decade. She then returned to MDC and earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing in 2014. Nurse Lopez rounded out her medical education by completing her Master of Science in nursing from Keiser University in Miami, Florida, in 2017.
While working with terminal and chronically ill patients, she developed a passion for family medicine and the process of helping patients resolve chronic health concerns. Nurse Lopez realized that top-quality preventive care helps patients of all ages live longer, healthier lives. Understanding that holistic care helps protect her patients’ long term health, she creates personalized plans to address all their concerns and help them meet their health goals.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Nurse Lopez has worked with patients of all ages in hospital settings, intensive care units, private practice, emergency departments, hospice care, and nursing homes. She is passionate about people’s health and maintaining the highest level of comfort and quality of life for her patients.
At HealthStone Primary, Nurse Lopez works in partnership with each patient, building caring and respectful relationships. She is also certified in aesthetic treatments and offers services such as Botox, facial fillers, and plasma treatments. When not assisting patients or attending clients with beauty services, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
