He combines clinical expertise with a holistic perspective, emphasizing collaboration, education, and individualized care planning to support each patient’s recovery and resilience.
Before joining Alpine Psychiatry, Robert served in a variety of psychiatric and medical settings, including inpatient and correctional psychiatry, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and critical care nursing. He brings a strong background in acute and chronic psychiatric management, trauma-informed care, and crisis stabilization.
Robert began his career as a critical care nurse at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where he developed advanced assessment and leadership skills while caring for medically complex patients in the Cardiac and Vascular ICU. His subsequent work in behavioral health and correctional settings strengthened his ability to connect with diverse populations and provide grounded, evidence-based treatment in high-acuity environments.

Taneestar Cohen is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of nursing experience. She brings seasoned clinical judgment, thoughtful diagnostic insight, and a patient-centered approach to psychiatric care.
Her professional background includes more than a decade in Sleep Medicine, where she developed a strong understanding of the connection between sleep, mood regulation, cognitive functioning, and overall psychiatric stability. This experience strengthened her ability to recognize clinical patterns that often contribute to complex or overlapping symptom presentations.
Taneestar earned her Post-Graduate Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Wilkes University and holds Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner certification from Wilmington University, where she graduated with Honors and was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
Her clinical practice is grounded in evidence-based psychopharmacology, careful differential diagnosis, and individualized treatment planning. Over the past 20 years, Dr. Sosunmolu Shoyinka has built a purpose-driven career aimed at serving vulnerable populations. This ultimately led him to launch Centia Health in 2018. Working with vulnerable populations in rural America and in disaster settings exposed him to the dire shortage of behavioral health services both within and outside the U.S. In some geographic areas, there are few options available for underserved populations who need a psychiatrist. Dr. Shoyinka realized that telepsychiatry would be a key strategy for reaching people in need wherever they are. He founded Centia Health to deliver evidence-based mental health and addiction treatment via telepsychiatry to individuals in non-traditional settings. This includes correctional settings (jails, diversion programs, courts), primary care settings, and addiction treatment programs. Dr. Shoyinka created Centia Health with the ultimate goal of connecting underserved populations all over the world to psychiatric care
