Sheldon has over 15 years of experience in healthcare. He has worked with a diverse population of patients including adults and children. He has been trained and practiced as both a medical provider and a psychiatric provider which enables him to provide thoughtful care that considers the whole person. He offers support through mental health challenges by providing short-person problem based counseling and also provides psychopharmacological treatment.
Kelly Tobin is a Board Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who underwent extensive training working with patients with psychiatric disorders across the lifespan and across multiple practice settings. Her education includes a Master of Science in Nursing, from the University of Saint Joseph in West Hartford, Connecticut and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Rhode Island in Kingston, RI. She also has more than a decade of experience working as a Registered Nurse in a Level 1 Trauma Center in Hartford, Connecticut. Kelly has worked with an extremely diverse adult population as a staff nurse. She values the practice of medicine and nursing, however, she also strongly believes in holistic, complimentary, and alternative therapies as treatment options for patients and is passionate about the palliative effects of marijuana when used for medicinal purposes.
William is a Licensed Professional Counselor -Associate, he brings several years of knowledge and experience to the HHS team. He has worked for almost a decade providing mental health services for adolescents and adults. He holds a Bachelor’s degree, Summa Cum Laude, in psychology, with concentration in clinical counseling. He also has a Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling from Albertus Magnus College. Presently, he is a doctoral candidate for Forensic Psychology at Walden University.

William’s focus is helping and transforming clients who have anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, SUD, and addiction based disorders. He is passionate about helping and working with clients within the LGBTQ+ community.
Apart from his clinical experience, William had done research work on ADHD, psycho-somatic disorders and eating disorders. He has led several research teams at the American Psychological Association (APA) and the Association for Psychological Science (APS), while at Fielding University. William is adept at helping clients dealing with several kinds of mental health challenges, including mood, behavioral, and personality issues, as well as substance abuse. William uses the following treatment modalities in this therapy: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, along with other other Person-Centered approaches. He posits that one of the keys to successful therapy is building and maintaining the therapeutic relationship and alliance. Hello and welcome! We are the ADHD Warriors of Connecticut. We are made up of two nurse practitioners who have treated ADHD and autism for a combined total of 17 years.
Our previous practice was a developmental-behavioral pediatric office specializing in diagnosing and treating ADHD. As the ADHD Warriors of CT, our goal is to join you on your journey to manage your or your child’s ADHD.
Our goal is to make ADHD treatment easier and more accessible. We function not only as healthcare providers who can manage your medications as required, but also as your ADHD coaches. We’re here to help you discover the best strategies for you or your child!

Through active listening I work with patients in helping them to understand the struggles that they are facing in life. Through a therapeutic relationship we work together to determine if augmentive therapies such as medication management plays a role in their care. As a provider for many years, I have also specialized with individuals within the transgender community to provider gender affirming care options.
