Dr. Geoca entered medicine with the simple purpose of wanting to help others, gain understanding about the human experience, and both hear and honor others’ stories. She attended George Washington University (GWU) for undergraduate studies, earning a double major in philosophy and biology as well as a minor in performance jazz, and then stayed at GWU for medical school. Currently, Dr. Geoca is a third year psychiatry resident at Saint Elizabeths Hospital.
Along the way, Dr. Geoca has also been involved in multiple research projects and publications, created and lead humanities-focused groups in medical school, attended yoga teacher training, been awarded multiple scholarships for academic excellence, and even published a poem. She was recently elected to serve as one of two resident members on the Washington Psychiatric Society Board, DC’s chapter of the American Psychiatric Association (APA). Throughout it all, she has remained committed to her own psychotherapeutic journey and benefitted immensely from this dedication to prioritizing her own mental health.
In her free time Dr. Geoca enjoys playing piano, synth, and bass, as well as drawing and painting. She loves writing, and is working towards publishing both fiction and non-fiction books.
Dr. Mohyuddin is passionate about advocating for underrepresented populations, for equity in access and delivery of health care, and for parity for mental health services. She has been a member of a multidisciplinary team of physicians for the past fourteen years, during which time, she has led research projects, presented at national conferences, and has multiple publications to her credit. She was recently elected as the American Psychiatric Association Deputy Representative for the Area 3 Council. She is also a member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society. Dr. Mohyuddin's leadership in these roles underscores her service to her community in a variety of capacities.
Dr. Kim Jones-Fearing, MD is a psychiatrist in Maryland and has over 32 years of experience in the medical field. Kimberly Lim graduated with honorable mention for her double undergraduate degrees in Biology at the Ateneo de Manila University in the Philippines and later in Nursing. Soon after, she pursued her masters degree in nursing at Bowie State university where she focused on family practice. Kimberly is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with several years of nursing experience behind her. She has worked in the field of psychiatry in both inpatient and outpatient settings dealing with patients suffering from depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. Kimberly sees patients ranging from young adults to the geriatric population. She currently provides consulting work at Holy Cross Hospital in Germantown and has been with Innovative Psychiatry since 2017.
Madison Kutzera is a board-certified Physician Assistant, originally from Maryland. She received her Masters of Science in Physician Assistant from Radford University Carilion in Roanoke, Virginia. Madison received her undergraduate degree from University of Maryland in Public Health Science. She previously worked as a Therapeutic Support Staff doing applied behavioral analysis therapy with pediatric clients before attending PA school. Anandraj (Andy) Mattai, MD, is a psychiatrist and founder of Innovative Psychiatry, LLC, in Columbia, Maryland. With an exceptional bedside manner and years of experience in his field, Dr. Mattai provides top-tier psychiatric care using the latest testing methods and treatment strategies.
Dr. Mattai excelled in school and graduated summa cum laude from Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois, before attending the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine in Iowa City, Iowa. Beltta G. Tachi, DNP, is an Adolescent and Adult Psychiatrist at Fidelity Behavioral Health. Dr. Tachi provides high-quality care to all patients at the offices of Greenbelt and Beltsville, Maryland. She sees patients virtually via Telehealth.
Education and learning have always been of importance to Dr. Tachi. In May 2009, she earned her Associate Degree in Nursing, followed by her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2013 from Prince George's Community College (PGCC) in Largo, Maryland.
While studying for her Masters in 2018, Dr. Tachi completed Aspen Day treatment LLC Psychiatric Mental Health Internship Outpatient under a psychiatrist's supervision, providing psychiatric evaluations and ongoing psychiatric care to adults, children, and families with mental illness disorders.
In 2019, she received her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Chamberlain University College of Nursing in Addison, Illinois.
From February through May 2019, she fulfilled a Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner Internship Outpatient under the supervision of Dr. Atlener-Artis-Trower, a Licensed Psychiatrist. Ms. Antwi has over 7 years’ experience in nursing that include medical surgical, correctional and psychiatric/mental health nursing. Her psychiatric experience includes providing services in psychiatric emergency rooms, inpatient populations and with incarcerated individuals. This work has helped her to develop her perspective on the challenges individual face, and how she can best engage patients/ clients in wellness care. Ms. Antwi attended the University of Rhode Island where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and later attended Walden University for her Master of Science in Nursing and certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Her goal is to encourage each patient to take care of their mental health by discussing it in a way that eliminates the stigma attached to seeking help. Her mission is to provide quality care in a collaborative, supportive, and judgment-free environment.
