I am a board certified nurse practitioner, and I provide holistic, patient-centered care through medication management and psychotherapy. I have experience working with individuals suffering from depression, anxiety, trauma, and attention difficulties. Dr. Vikas Shetty obtained his medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, D.C.. He subsequently completed a medical internship at Northwell Health- North Shore- Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park, New York. Dr. Shetty then completed his neurology residency at the same institution, where he gained extensive experience in managing a wide range of neurological conditions.
He was later awarded a fellowship in epilepsy at Northwell Health, focusing on advanced epilepsy care, including interpreting complex EEGs and managing refractory epilepsy cases.
