I completed my residency in psychiatry at Louisiana State University, before which I practiced as a physician and cardiologist for more than 20 years. I am a board-certified psychiatrist with experience with adult mental health, geriatric patients, and substance related issues. I have served as a Director of Psychiatry at St. Tammany Parish Sherrif's Office, Lakeview Hospital Geriatric Unit, and Northlake Behavioral Hospital.
