I found my passion for mental health early in my nursing career. A few years ago, I made providing mental healthcare one of my life's missions and decided to advance my career by obtaining a master's degree in nursing. My goal is to provide client-centered, conscientious, and holistic care to my patients.

Sokhira Yang is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience in the mental health field as well as an advocate for mental health and overall wellness. Sokhira’s areas of interest include ADHD, PTSD, and depression. Sokhira began her nursing career as a corrections nurse, and saw the importance of mental health in underserved populations.
Being a proud daughter of survivors of the Khmer Rouge genocide and also, as a single mother, she is committed to empowering her patients to be able to succeed in all aspects of their lives. Sokhira has obtained her doctorate in nursing to be able to make an even greater impact on her patient’s health and wellbeing.
Brian Jewers is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with many years of experience and a passion to help his community. Brian specializes in ADHD, Anxiety, and Depression. Now accepting new patients via Telemedicine through video/phone.
Brian is a proud veteran of the United States Air Force where he served for nearly a decade, and translates the same commitment to serve into his nursing career.
Dr. Tsappis is a board certified physician with specialty training in both general psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry. He was raised in a rural area of northern California. After graduating from medical school he moved to Vermont for specialty training in general psychiatry and then to Pennsylvania for his child and adolescent psychiatry training. During his final year of training he served as chief resident for the training program. In addition to his work here at Family Psychiatric Care Dr. Tsappis has been involved in clinical care in the outpatient clinics of two major health systems in the Boston area, consultation to a local specialized preparatory school and integrated care at a large pediatric practice. He has provided invited presentations to local, national and international audiences.
