Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Stephen Aiello is a psychiatric nurse practitioner at SA Psychiatry and is board certified through American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). He began his training at Purdue University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. He went on to earn his Masters of Science in Nursing from Walden University and received a Post Masters certificate as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
History of Helping Others
For over 15 years, Mr. Aiello has worked in emergency medicine as a paramedic, then as a flight nurse while working part-time as an emergency nurse working with patients in various settings. After seeing his colleague suffer from depression, anxiety, SUD, and PTSD, he made the decision to work towards helping individuals who are suffering from these mental health disorders and has committed to dedicating the remainder of his career to this cause.
I am a board-certified family psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. I have been in practice for many years treating, helping, and supporting clients and their families (children, adolescents, adults) who struggle with mental illness. From medication management to psychotherapy and holistic approaches such as lifestyle and nutritional counseling and changes, my goal is to keep my clients mentally, emotionally, and physically healthy so that they can thrive. I am licensed in Arizona, Florida and Washington.
