Dr. Luis Olivera-Rodriguez is a Board Certified Psychiatrist with about 5 years’ experience in the treatment of psychiatric conditions original from San Juan, Puerto Rico. He completed his Doctorate Degree in medicine at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in 2012, then completed his residency training in Psychiatry in the same institution in 2016 and has been in practice in the Orlando area since then.
Dr. Olivera has experience attending all populations from children, adolescents, adults and the elderly. He likes to integrate all aspects of a patient’s health into his treatments and is known for the use of pharmacogenetic testing to evaluate which medications are best in the treatment of his patients.
He is fully bilingual in English and Spanish and has experience with patients from different cultural backgrounds as well as special communities including pregnancy, HIV, veterans and LGBT patients. He is an active member of the American Psychiatric Association.
