She currently works with Los Angeles-area children, adolescents, adults, and families to improve personal and academic success.
Dr. Stanford grew up in Newark, New Jersey, before attending Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to earn her bachelor’s degree in education with a dual English degree. She then earned her master’s degree in multicultural education at Eastern University in Wayne, Pennsylvania, before attending Arcadia University in Glenside, Pennsylvania, for her certificate in applied behavior analysis.
After several years of expanding her knowledge and skills in the effective use of data, communication, and utilizing the arts in therapy, Dr. Stanford earned her educational doctorate in organizational change and leadership from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California.
Throughout her career, Dr. Stanford has accumulated diverse experience as a teacher, consultant, therapist, and clinical supervisor. She has managed teams and conducted research in her field and now uses her creative and resourceful side to adapt to every new case she encounters.
At ALIVE Education Management & Services, Dr. Stanford conducts in-depth behavioral analyses for children, adolescents, and families with diverse needs and goals through therapy. She creates individualized plans and coordinates care with specialists, professionals, and caretakers.
Jennifer Sato-Veloz is a licensed clinical social worker in Los Angeles, California. Jennifer aims to provide holistic and compassionate care to individuals throughout the Greater Los Angeles area and online in California.
Jennifer earned her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Southern California (USC) and completed internships in community mental health. Jennifer currently serves as adjunct faculty in the MFT Department at Biola University and works with college students in University Counseling at Cal State Northridge.
Jennifer has experience working with a diverse population of individuals and creative professionals in private practice. Some of her interests include supporting others through depression, coping with grief and loss, healing from childhood trauma, navigating burnout and exploring issues related to cultural identity. Jennifer takes an integrative approach to treatment and works within a variety of modalities including psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, narrative and somatic based therapies.
In addition to providing therapy, Jennifer holds a Master of Soul Care and Spiritual Formation degree from Talbot Seminary and enjoys working with individuals, groups and religious organizations on issues related to contemplative spirituality and the personal retreat experience.
Dr. Payam Kharazi is a clinical psychologist at Psychology Beverly Hills, located in Beverly Hills, California. His mission is to provide comprehensive and compassionate care to individuals living in and throughout the Greater Los Angeles area.
Dr. Kharazi earned his doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Pepperdine University and completed his fellowship at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) Counseling and Psychological Services.
Prior to his doctoral degree, he earned a master's degree in Social Work from Yeshiva University with an emphasis in community leadership, organization, and development. He has completed clinical rotations at academic institutions such as Cedars Sinai Medical Center, USC, and UCLA.
Dr. Kharazi has extensive experience working with diverse populations and presenting concerns in a variety of treatment settings, from non-profit community mental health clinics to private hospitals and university health centers. He has received advanced clinical training in psychotherapy with a particular focus on interpersonal process, attachment, and personality functioning.
