Yasaman earned her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute, and her pre-doctoral and postdoctoral trainings have been in psychodynamic psychotherapy working with both adults and children. After earning her Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University, she did her clinical work in various settings including outpatient mental health clinics, family resource centers, schools, and multicultural centers treating various disorders and conducting psychoeducational and process groups.
