Born and raised in Boulder, Dr. Barberis enjoys outdoor activities of all kinds and spending time with her family.

Kara Crosby, DO, is a board-certified pediatrician and allergy and immunology physician. She sees patients at Denver Allergy & Asthma Associates in Denver and Littleton.
Dr. Crosby attended Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in biology. She earned her medical degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania. Dr. Crosby completed her residency in pediatrics at Akron Children’s Hospital in Akron, Ohio, and her fellowship in allergy and immunology at the University of Buffalo in Buffalo, New York. After her fellowship, Dr. Crosby moved to Colorado where has established herself as a competent and compassionate physician. She believes in treating the whole individual. She specializes in allergy testing and comprehensive treatment for adults and children of all ages at Denver Allergy & Asthma Associates. Dr. Crosby is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, and the Colorado Allergy and Asthma Society.
