A native of Loranger, Louisiana, Jeni Dunnington earned her Bachelor of Science degree at Southeastern Louisiana University and her Doctor of Audiology degree at Louisiana Tech University.
At SLENT Hearing and Balance Center, she evaluates, treats, and counsels patients with hearing and balance disorders. She prescribes hearing instruments for hearing loss and tinnitus and provides treatment for common balance conditions.
Jeni takes great pride in offering comprehensive care and describes her team as “family.” For her, success comes when patients rediscover sounds and connections they thought were lost—especially when those initially hesitant to seek help leave wondering how they ever lived without treatment.
When she is not with patients, Jeni spends time with her husband, John, their daughter, Marae, and their puppy, Cider. They enjoy weekends at family camp and boating. She also shares her expertise by teaching at Southeastern Louisiana University.
