A Southern California native, Dr. Parto grew up in Irvine, attending the University of California, Irvine for his Bachelor of Science in biological sciences with a minor in educational studies. He then completed his Master of Public Health in health administration at Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, California.
After earning his Doctor of Medicine at St. George’s University School of Medicine in True Blue, Grenada, West Indies, Dr. Parto completed his internal medicine internship and residency program at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas, rising to the top of his class and serving as chief resident.

Currently, Dr. Parto is the Chief of Cardiology at St. Vincent Medical Center and the Director of Vascular Diseases at California Hospital Medical Center, both in Los Angeles. He has treated a wide range of cardiovascular conditions, won awards, and produced a number of publications.

Dr. Shaun Daneshrad, MD, FACC, is a leading internist and cardiologist in the Greater Los Angeles area, providing adults in and around Beverly Hills, CA, with skilled and compassionate care in all areas of internal medicine. Dr. Daneshrad earned his bachelor's degree in microbiology at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) and his MD from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Arash Aghel, MD, is a board-certified internist and cardiologist at COR Healthcare Medical Associates in Los Angeles. He sees patients at the Torrance, California office where he specializes in general cardiology, interventional cardiology, structural heart, and peripheral vascular interventions.
Dr. Aghel earned his medical degree from Mashhad University of Medical Sciences in Iran before moving to Cleveland for his internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at Cleveland Clinic and Case Western Reserve University. He then moved to Colorado and completed 2 additional years of training in interventional cardiology and advanced structural and vascular interventions at the University of Colorado in Denver.
Dr. Aghel joins COR Healthcare Medical Associates from Colorado where he was busy practicing interventional cardiology for the past 7 years.
