Dr. Raabia Ahmad is originally from St. Louis, Missouri where she attended college at Washington University. After completing her Bachelor’s Degree, she attended medical school at Drexel University in Philadelphia. Dr. Ahmad then completed her residency and cardiology fellowship at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. After completing her medical training, she joined a large cardiology practice affiliated with Mass. General Brigham outside Boston in Salem, Massachusetts. During her time there, Dr. Ahmad served as the medical director of one of their clinical sites and built a successful general cardiology practice. She is now moving to the Bay Area with her family in search of warmer weather and year-round living.
Dr. Ahmad is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Echocardiography, and Nuclear Cardiology. She has a special clinical interest in cardiac imaging, preventive cardiology, women’s heart disease, and valvular disease. She strives to connect with her patients on a personal level, educate them on their condition, and guide them in joint clinical decision making.
In her free time, Dr. Ahmad enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 young children, traveling, and cooking.
