In 1992, Dr. van den Valentyn graduated Magna Cum Laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, the largest and oldest college with this specialty in the world. Dr. van den Valentyn continues to keep up with the new developments in his field in order to provide his patients with the very best care.
Dr. van den Valentyn specializes in the treatment of pregnancy-related spinal issues, pediatric chiropractic care, various types of spinal pain disorders, headaches, sports injuries and motor vehicle accident treatment. Dr. van den Valentyn has been in practice for over 30 years.
Dr. van den Valentyn has been married for 35 years and has four adult children. He enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, traveling and is an avid golfer.
Dr. Ian Schapiro is a licensed chiropractor with physical therapy privileges in Maryland and Virginia.
Dr. Schapiro was raised in Rockville, Maryland and later attended and graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic West in June 2020. While studying for his degree, he focused his training on athletes of all ages, skill levels, and experience. As a result of his efforts in school, he was awarded the clinical excellence award for the student who succeeds best as a clinician.
Dr. Schapiro utilizes a variety of techniques to help treat patients. A few of his areas of expertise include bio-mechanical analysis, sports injury recovery, and musculoskeletal injuries of the spine as well as extremities. Dr. Steven Lipschutz graduated valedictorian of his class from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa in 1992. He completed a post graduate degree in sports medicine from Logan College of Chiropractic in 1994. Dr. Lipschutz opened North Potomac Chiropractic in 1993 and grew the practice to a three-chiropractor practice by 1997 having treated over ten thousand patients. In 1997, Dr. Lipschutz established Quince Orchard Medical Center, P.C. as the first multispecialty physical medicine practice in Montgomery County, Maryland. Dr. Lipschutz believes that when multiple specialists practice together under one-roof patients will benefit from the cooperative effort.
Dr. Lipschutz has been a licensed chiropractor with physical therapy privileges in the State of Maryland for over 31 years. He is also licensed in Virginia. He is a member of both the American and Maryland Chiropractic Associations. Dr. Lipschutz has been married for 32 years and has two adult children. He is an avid work out enthusiast. He enjoys playing basketball, running, biking as well as kayaking, water skiing and wake boarding.
