Dr. Shivani Barto, originally from upstate New York, completed her Bachelor of Science degree at the University at Buffalo before earning her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the esteemed University of Michigan. Continuing a family tradition, Dr. Barto's father, sister, and husband are also proud alumni of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Her husband's service in the US Navy has led them on a journey from Texas to Japan and now to Bethesda, MD, where they plan to stay.

Dr. Barto is an active member of several internationally recognized professional organizations, including the American Dental Association and Delta Sigma Delta. She is dedicated to continuous education, leveraging her involvement in these associations to stay at the forefront of advancements in dental technology and practices.
