Dr. Scott Dault is a periodontist, a specialist who has completed several years of post-doctoral training in gum disease, dental implants and the treatment of gum and bone tissue. Dr. Dault is very experienced in all phases of periodontal therapy from diagnosis, treatment planning, and surgical and non-surgical treatment modalities. He is also experienced in dental implant surgery, including bone and soft tissue grafting associated with implant treatment.
Education
Dr. Dault attended San Jose State University for his Bachelor’s degree and had a prior career working in the semiconductor industry in Silicon Valley. In search of greater fulfillment, he pursued a career in dentistry.
He earned his D.D.S. degree from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry and completed his Periodontics residency at the VA – West Los Angeles program which is affiliated with the University of California, Los Angeles.
Prior to earning his dental degree Dr. Dault worked in the semi-conductor industry. While interesting he desired greater fulfillment, and he pursued a career in dentistry.
Research
Dr. Dault is interested in implementing newly developed therapeutic approaches of using growth factors to improve periodontal and implant surgical results. Prior to and during dental school, he participated in research projects focusing on the use of growth factors for gum and bone regeneration. These past research experiences aid him in bringing the latest advances in tissue engineering to clinical periodontal and dental implant therapy.

Outside the practice
Dr. Dault enjoys spending time with his wife Suzie and two children, Anthony and Ashley, as well as staying physically active by enjoying bicycle riding, regular exercise and an occasional motorcycle ride.
As an associate dentist, Dr. Schexnayder provides exceptional dental care for her patients including fillings and cleanings, along with assisting in complex treatment planning and surgical cases. She is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles School of Dentistry and completed her Dental Post-Bachelor program at San Francisco State University. Her research in Parental Functional Health has been published in the Journal of the California Dental Association, and she is an active member of the Contra Costa Dental Society.
When she’s not creating beautiful, healthy smiles at Le Chabot Dental, Dr. Schexnayder spends her time with her new husband baking, hiking and swimming. She is also an avid reader of fantasy novels such as Harry Potter and The Belgariad.
Dr. Andy Le is a board-certified dental implant specialist with over 20 years of dentistry and oral surgery experience. From single dental implants and implant-supported dentures, to full mouth restoration and reconstruction, Dr. Le utilizes the most advanced technology and surgical techniques to achieve the best results for his patients. He believes the key to ensuring the best results for his patients start with good communication and setting realistic expectations.
Education & Accreditation
Dr. Le is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology and Implant Dentistry (ABOI/ID), a designation of the highest level of competency in implant dentistry. He is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and received his Master of Oral Implantology at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas-School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Le earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and his Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Dr. Wenli Loo is a general and cosmetic dentist in San Francisco and San Ramon, CA. Dr. Loo has been practicing dentistry for 20 years. She completed her dental education at the New York University School of Dentistry in 2002. She continued her studies by completing a residency at the Veteran’s Affairs Hospital. Dr.Loo keeps current with the latest technology and finds continuing education very important. Dr. Steve Deng is a Bay Area native, growing up in the East Bay. He completed his undergraduate studies at UCLA and his dental degree at NYU College of Dentistry. Having aligned clinical views and studies as Dr. Loo, he joined her practice as an associate in 2020.
Dr. Deng’s passion for dentistry stems back to when he was young and knew this would be his dream career. Born in Hawaii and raised in Vallejo, Kevin Cabugao received his BS in Genetics at the University of California at Davis and worked in biotechnology before refocusing his energies towards graduate school. While Kevin found his work in the pharmaceutical industry rewarding, he felt unsatisfied with his career and sought an education that would best complement his enthusiasm for helping others with his understanding of the sciences. With this intention, he received his MBA from California State University East Bay and DDS from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry. Currently, he is an active member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association as a member of the Board of Component Relations and has served as the former President of the Napa/Solano Dental Society.

Dr. Debra Westervelt is originally from Hemet, a small town in Southern California. In her early years of college, she found a passion in healthcare where she felt she could best impact her community and graduated with a degree in biology from La Sierra University at the top of her class. She then earned a doctorate degree at the acclaimed University of California, San Francisco.
Dr. Westervelt loves every aspect of dentistry and worked as a general dentist in the Napa area for several years. She enjoyed working closely with many specialists and collaborating in changing people’s lives. She was heavily involved in study clubs and advanced continuing education and became inspired by the specialists she had the opportunity to work with.
Fascinated with the connection between oral and systemic health and determined to further her education, Dr. Westervelt obtained her specialty certificate in periodontics from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Dr. Westervelt is passionate about helping her community by improving each patient’s overall health through ideal periodontal health. She understands the importance of comprehensive dental care and working closely with other experts in both dentistry and medicine. Her unique point of view as both a general dentist and a periodontist allows a broad understanding of her patient’s wants and needs. Patient care is Dr. Westervelt’s top priority, and this sentiment is felt by each patient she treats.

Oz Simel, DDS, MD, is a dual degree oral and maxillofacial surgeon. He is dedicated to providing patients in San Jose, California, and the surrounding areas with comprehensive dental care.
After graduating from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles with his undergraduate degree, Dr. Simel earned his dental degree from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). While at UCSF, he discovered his passion for oral and maxillofacial surgery and ventured down to Southern California, where he attended the University of California, Los Angeles, and spent six years in residency obtaining the skills and medical knowledge essential to the field.
Dr. Simel offers a wide range of dental surgeries and procedures. He ensures patients understand their options and answers any questions they have.
Dr. Kian Farzaneh DDS is an accomplished oral surgeon, wisdom teeth specialist, and dental implant specialist in Danville, California.
At his practice, Dr. Farzaneh cares for patients using the latest advances in oral and maxillofacial surgery. These include Nobel Guide, which is a CT-guided implant planning and placement technology, and "Teeth in an Hour," a service that helps people who need immediate dental implants. He is one of the few surgeons trained in placement of the Zygomatic Implants, a procedure that eliminates the need for bone grafts in severely resorbed jaws.
Dr. Farzaneh graduated with honors from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in 1999. He is a member of numerous associations, including the California Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Contra Costa Dental Society, Academy of Osseointegration, and Sadi Fontaine Academy.
Dr. Farzaneh continues to keep updated with the newest advances in oral and maxillofacial surgery. His goal is to make oral surgery simple for patients and to perform procedures with the highest level of predictability.
