Dr. Chris Cortopassi's journey to becoming an orthodontist has been driven by a childhood dream and a genuine desire to bring joy through transformative smiles. Ever since he went through orthodontic treatment in middle school, Dr. Cortopassi wanted to become the person who helps create new smiles, builds confidence, and witnesses the sheer delight of individuals as the braces are removed.
He graduated from The University of Dayton in 2015, earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D) from Midwestern University School of Dentistry in 2021, and completed his master’s degree and certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics in 2023 at Seton Hill University.
Staying at the forefront of orthodontic advancements is crucial to Dr. Cortopassi. He is an active member of several esteemed organizations, including the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Midwestern Society of Orthodontists, and Illinois Society of Orthodontists. This commitment ensures that he provides patients with the most advanced and effective orthodontic solutions.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Cortopassi shares his life with his wonderful wife, Katelyn, and their baby girl Gianna. Their adorable Bernadoodle, Riggs, completes their joyful family. Balancing professional and personal life, he takes pride in being a husband, father, and a devoted pet owner.
Beyond creating great smiles, Dr. Cortopassi is conversant in Spanish and holds a deep appreciation for his Italian heritage. Outside of the clinic, you might find him enjoying a bike ride, experimenting in the kitchen, diving into a good book, or trying out the best new restaurant around town.
Dr. Cortopassi grew up in Wheaton, IL and is ecstatic at the opportunity to practice orthodontics so close to where he grew up. He is eager to be a part of the community he knows so well and looks forward to engaging with familiar faces and building new connections.
