Adam Smith, DDS, is a general and family dentist and the owner of Smile Structure Dentistry and Braces, which has four locations in San Antonio and another in Helotes, Texas.
Dr. Smith graduated from San Diego State University in 1998 with a major in psychology and a minor in political science. He then enlisted in the US Army and served as a special operations soldier with the elite US Army Rangers stationed in Ft. Lewis, Washington. After the military, he attended The prestigious University of the Pacific Dental School in San Francisco. From San Francisco, Dr. Smith moved to Northern California and practiced in private practice for two years, where he learned advanced dental procedures, including implants, endodontics, and wisdom tooth extractions.
In late 2011, Dr. Smith and his family relocated to deep south Texas, where he practiced dentistry for six years in the Rio Grande Valley, learning to work with children while raising his own three kids with his beautiful wife, Melissa. Eager to begin the next chapter of their lives, Dr. Smith purchased Smile Structure Dentistry and Braces in late 2017 and moved his family to San Antonio, where they can finally plant roots and have a wonderful city to call home. She then received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Health Sciences Center - San Antonio with a distinction in dental education and teaching honors. Following her doctoral degree, Dr. Malagayo completed the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency program at UT Health - School of Dentistry. During her residency, she received training in many advanced dental procedures, sedation, and complex treatment planning.
