Dr. Daniel B. Mendoza offers family-orientated, quality dentistry to residents of Redwood City, California. His love of the treatment side of dentistry has enabled him to serve the community for nearly 30 years at his practice, Daniel B. Mendoza & Associates. Before attending dental school, Dr. Mendoza graduated with honors from California State University in Fullerton. During his time in dental school, Dr. Mendoza served as a teacher’s aide.

He’s been teaching and mentoring students for over 30 years. Dr. Mendoza is the course director for both the crown and bridge curriculum and the dental morphology curriculum for which he wrote the textbook. He also helped create several courses aimed at providing dental professionals with the technique and material updates required to maintain an active dental license.

He has been an active member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society since his induction at graduation, and served as vice president in 2000 and president in 2001.

When he is not working, Dr. Mendoza loves to cycle, fly fish, and cook for his family.

Dr. Harjit Khehra, DDS attended UC Riverside where she graduated with a B.S. in Biology and a B.S. in Biochemistry. Growing up, Dr. Constant worked for her father, Dr. David Constant, but it wasn't until she worked for a dentist in San Luis Obispo that she solidified her passion for becoming an orthodontist. She practiced as a general dentist for a year in Palo Alto and Sunnyvale, California, before moving to Atlanta, Georgia, to earn her orthodontic certificate.

A native of the East Bay, Dr. Dennis Prat grew up in Oakland, California, which is why he chose to set up his practice, The Dental Touch, in his hometown to offer the community a menu of comprehensive dental services under one roof.

Dr. Prat earned his professional degree at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco in 1985. Dr. Prat received advanced training by completing a general practice residency at Veterans Administration Hospital in Miami. After his residency, he maintained a private practice in Hollywood, Florida, for five years.

To broaden his practice, Dr. Prat went on to earn his credentials for Dental Implantology from Harvard School of Dental Medicine in Boston. In 1990, Dr. Prat returned to Oakland, bringing his extensive training to patients in the community.

After graduating from Loyola Marymount University, Dr. Simel earned his dental degree from the University of California, San Francisco where he went to school with his twin brother. At UCSF, he discovered his passion for Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and ventured down to Southern California to the University of California, Los Angeles where he spent six years in residency obtaining the skills and medical knowledge essential to the field. After finishing his residency he decided to move back to Northern California as he wanted to give back to the community where he grew up. Dr. Simel's particular interest lies in wisdom tooth extractions, dental implants, bone grafting and safe intravenous sedation. Raoul Shah, DDS, is an experienced general dentist at Willow Glen Dental Center in San Jose, California. Dr. Shah is dedicated to making all of his patients happy and enjoys building long-lasting relationships with each of them.

Dr. Shah was born and raised in Michigan. He attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor for his undergraduate studies, where he majored in anthropology-zoology and biology. He was always interested in the medical field and ultimately chose to pursue dental school at the University of Michigan, where he graduated in 2000.

From 2000 to 2005, Dr. Shaw worked in various dental offices in Michigan, Virginia, and Georgia, before finally moving to California. Dr. Shah previously owned a dental practice in Fremont, California, for 10 years before selling it and partnering with Meridian Dental Associates in 2015, now renamed Willow Glen Dental Center. 

Dr. Shah enjoys all aspects of dentistry and has taken numerous continuing education courses throughout his career. He specifically studied the placement and restoration of dental implants and has experience treating full-mouth implant rehabilitation cases.
