Eric graduated from Weber State University with a double major Bachelor’s degree in Zoology and Spanish. He graduated from Chatham University in 2012 with a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies. Between earning those two degrees, Eric attended the University of Utah as a Biology Ph.D. candidate and among other courses, did student teaching in comparative vertebrate morphology and comparative physiology. He simultaneously taught undergraduate anatomy and biology courses at Weber State as adjunct faculty. He loves anything to do with vertebrate anatomy.
Prior to coming to NCDC, Eric worked as a surgical assistant for four years, and as a clinical PA for nearly 8 years in general neurology, particularly loving headache diagnosis and management, including using BOTOX for migraine, and pain management. His hobbies include skiing– water and snow; snowboarding, boating, camping, hiking, riding 4-wheelers, traveling, and Disney-ing. More than anything, he loves spending time with his wife Sheryl, and with their children and grandchildren.
Eric loves working in the field of dermatology, which he considers a dream-come-true position. He loves caring for patients and strives to make them feel welcome and comfortable and enjoys doing all dermatologic procedures.
Timothy E. Knight, MD is a dermatologist at North County Dermatology Clinic. Serving patients in Lakeland, Florida, he enjoys the problem-solution process in dermatology. When it comes to his patients, he views each person as an individual, fascinating mystery just waiting to be solved.
Dr. Knight has practiced dermatology for more than 30 years and is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology. He earned his medical degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia and completed his internship in internal medicine at the Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu. He also completed his dermatology residency at the University of Maryland Medical System in Baltimore.
As a lifelong learner, Dr. Knight has published numerous research studies in peer-reviewed journals, and he has presented nationally. He previously served as an assistant professor at several medical schools, and he is currently an adjunct professor at Nova Southeastern University.
In addition to a medical degree, Dr. Knight earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. He has received many academic honors in the veterinary field, including the Clinic Volunteer of the Year Award from the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty of Animals in 2003 and 2007. Dr. Knight is also a veteran of the United States Army, where he was a captain of the Medical Corps. Prior to the Army, Dr. Knight was an Airman First Class of the Missouri National Guard.
Dr. Knight generously participates in community service and has volunteered as a dermatologist with Talofa Medical Mission, where he provided charity medical services for two weeks yearly in Polynesia over a 10-year period. He has also been a weekly volunteer veterinarian for the Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in Lakeland.
He is pleased to offer services that keep pace with modern technology and medical breakthroughs, and he enjoys nothing more than bringing gratitude and joy to his patients.
Rebekka Evans, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant specializing in dermatology at Knight Dermatology Institute, which serves the communities of Orlando, Lake Mary, Winter Park, and Melbourne, Florida. Rebekka currently sees Knight Dermatology Institute patients in Orlando, Florida.
Rebekka, a Pennsylvania native, moved from her small hometown to Orlando, Florida, where she pursued her passion for healthcare at AdventHealth University. There, she earned her Associate of Science degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, igniting a career dedicated to patient well-being.
For over seven years, Rebekka served as a cardiovascular sonographer, honing her expertise before transitioning to her next endeavor: becoming a physician assistant. This decision led her to the University of West Florida, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in health sciences and graduated cum laude.
Returning to AdventHealth University, Rebekka attained her Master of Science in Physician Assistant studies. Dedicated to enhancing skin health and delivering compassionate, high-quality care, Rebekka continually strives to make a positive impact on her patients' lives.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Rebekka finds joy in cherished moments with her family, friends, and beloved dogs. She enjoys outdoor activities and exploring her culinary skills trying new recipes.

Hugo V. Hart, MD, FACS, is a board-certified general surgeon with over 29 years of experience. He currently serves patients at Vascular Vein Centers, with locations in Orlando, Kissimmee, Lake Mary, The Villages, and Davenport.
Dr. Hart earned his Bachelor of Arts from Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven and his medical degree from the Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña in the Dominican Republic. He completed his general surgery residency at Bridgeport General Hospital in Connecticut.
Dr. Hart has been practicing in the Central Florida area for over 23 years and is currently on staff at Orlando Regional Medical Center and Florida Hospital. Certified by the American College of Surgeons and the American Board of Surgeons, Dr. Hart is an active member of the American College of Phlebology, the society for vein professionals, and Hispaniola Medical Charity, the medical mission organization that provides medical care to the impoverished people in the Dominican Republic. Dr. Hart also does volunteer work for the underserved at the Orange County Medical Clinic.
