Joshua Freedman, MD, MS, is a nationally recognized innovator in the field of dermatology and a board-certified dermatologist at Kessel Dermatology in Hamilton Square, New Jersey. He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatological Surgeons, American Contact Dermatitis Society, and Florida Society of Dermatological Surgeons. He is a licensed physician in surgery and medicine in New Jersey and Florida.
Dr. Freedman trained as a dermatologist at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine, in the prestigious department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery, which is ranked among the Nation’s Top Ten Programs (US News & World Report 2015). During his training, he received numerous institutional and national awards for his inventions and innovations in cutting-edge dermatological technology for early skin cancer detection. Dr. Freedman completed his Medical education at Rush University Medical College and his internal medicine internship training at Advocate Illinois Masonic Hospital. While at Rush University, he served as the president of the Medical Student Surgery Group and researched at the Craniofacial Center for Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Freedman graduated from Drexel University with dual master’s degrees in electrical and biomedical engineering and continues to explore new ways to utilize technology to enhance dermatological care.
Dr. Freedman greatly enjoys and continues to seek out volunteer opportunities to give back to his community. He has received grants from the American Academy of Dermatology to support volunteer work in Native American Health Services on reservations in Chinle and Tsaile, Arizona. Dr. Freedman has provided volunteer service for Florida Keys Health Fairs and Camillus House Homeless Shelter. Dr. Freedman served as a student director for the Community Health Clinic in Chicago, which provided weekly free clinical care to the uninsured, and founded a new clinic that continues to serve uninsured Chicagoans today.
Dr. Freedman is originally from Bucks County, Pennsylvania, and is happy to return to and serve this area’s medical and surgical dermatological needs.
Santiago Centurion, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist, dermatopathologist, and Mohs surgeon practicing at Dermatology Associates of Central NJ in Old Bridge, Freehold, Tom's River, and Union, New Jersey. Dr. Centurion specializes in the treatment and evaluation of skin cancer. Before joining Dermatology Associates, Dr. Centurion was chief of dermatologic surgery at the East Orange Veterans Hospital.
Dr. Centurion’s career is firmly rooted in New Jersey, starting with his residency in dermatology, fellowship in dermatopathology, and training in Mohs surgery at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, where he later rose to director of dermatologic surgery. One of the largest schools of health sciences of its kind, the University of Medicine and Dentistry is considered the leading research university in New Jersey.
Over the course of his distinguished career, Dr. Centurion has instructed countless medical fellows, residents, and students on skin cancer surgery. He has performed several thousand Mohs, dermatologic, and laser surgeries. His expertise is documented in numerous published scientific papers, as well as in his contributions to scores of dermatology textbooks.

Lainey Ortiz, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant at Integrated Dermatology of NJ, located in East Brunswick, New Jersey.
Mrs. Ortiz received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from The College of William and Mary and her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from LIU in Brooklyn, New York. She is a member of The American Academy of Physician Assistants and The Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Mrs. Ortiz specializes in treating and educating patients about various skin conditions, including but not limited to acne, eczema, rosacea, fungal infections, skin cancer, and warts. She takes pleasure in discussing skincare regimens and cosmetic treatments tailored to each individual’s skin matters. Acne and rosacea are two conditions she focuses on treating as she personally has encountered these difficult skin obstacles.
When Lainey isn’t treating patients, she loves to create fashionable outfits and design interiors. You can also find Lainey dancing salsa with her husband and venturing to the park with her rescue family dog.

Aton M. Holzer, MD, is a seasoned Mohs surgeon who is the Director of Mohs Surgery in the Department of Dermatology at Tel Aviv-Sourasky (Ichilov) Medical Center in Tel Aviv, Israel, a major academic hospital in the heart of a bustling metropolis, where he supervises a busy Mohs unit with three surgeons, residents and student rotators, and also serves as director of the American College of Mohs Surgery Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology (MSDO) fellowship program.
Dr. Holzer was born and raised in Queens, New York. He completed his undergraduate studies at Yeshiva University, graduating summa cum laude, and went on to complete a master's degree in modern Jewish history. He then attended medical school at Weill Medical College of Cornell University, where he graduated with an M.D. with Honors in Research, and where he was awarded the prestigious “Good Physician” award. He completed his internship in internal medicine at Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital, a four-year Research Track residency in dermatology at the University of Alabama-Birmingham, and a fellowship in Mohs Surgery and Procedural Dermatology at The Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas under the tutelage of Leonard H. Goldberg, MD. In the past, he has worked as a dermatologist and Mohs surgeon in both South Miami and Pembroke Pines, Florida and as a part-time teledermatology consultant for Refuah Health Center in Rockland County, New York.
Since 2015, he has divided his time between Israel and the United States. He commutes back to the U.S. one week per month to treat Mohs patients in our East Brunswick office, as well as numerous other offices in the Northeast, mostly in communities that are relatively underserved by Mohs surgeons. He is a fellow member of the American College of Mohs Surgery and the American Academy of Dermatology, and is a member of the Israel Medical Association. Dr. Holzer has authored a published chapter in a dermatology textbook and has authored and co-authored dozens of articles published in a variety of peer-reviewed journals. He has delivered talks and his work has been presented at national and international Mohs and dermatology conferences. He lives in Beit Shemesh, Israel with his wife and six children.
Sarah Esposito, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant at Integrated Dermatology of NJ, located in East Brunswick, New Jersey.
Sarah received her bachelor's degree in biological sciences from the University of Delaware, where she earned a spot on the Dean's list. She then graduated with a master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Seton Hall University, where she was awarded membership in the prestigious Alpha Eta Honors Society, the National Honors Society for Allied Health Practitioners.
Prior to joining Integrated Dermatology of NJ, Sarah worked in emergency medicine for over three years. She has trained extensively in dermatology and has been an integral part of our practice since joining in 2014. In addition to medical dermatology, Sarah is skilled in the surgical removal of skin lesions.

Adam Nabatian, MD, FAAD, FACMS, is a board-certified dermatologist practicing at Integrated Dermatology of NJ, located in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
Dr. Nabatian completed his undergraduate studies at New York University, graduating Magna cum laude with honors. He then attended UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and performed his residency in Dermatology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He then went on to complete an additional Mohs/Procedural Dermatology Fellowship at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York, NY, where he continues to serve as a clinical Instructor. Dr. Nabatian is also a clinic instructor at Montefiore Medical Center, where he teaches medical students and residents.
Dr. Nabatian has received numerous honors and awards and has contributed to the field with his research, publications, and presentations. He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and American College of Mohs Surgery. Irina Milgram, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant at Integrated Dermatology of NJ, located in East Brunswick, New Jersey.
Irina received her bachelor's degree in biology from Bar-Ilan University in Tel-Aviv, Israel. She graduated from the Physician Assistant Program at UMDNJ School of Health-Related Professions, one of the top programs in the country.
Prior to joining Integrated Dermatology of NJ, Irina worked in interventional cardiology catheter labs for seven years and in private practice with an endocrinologist for one year. She trained extensively in dermatology, which has been an important part of the practice since 2008.

Dr. Jennifer LaRusso, a native of New Jersey, graduated with her degree in medicine from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ). After graduation she completed an internship and residency in Family Medicine at UMDNJ.
Realizing that her true passion in medicine was dermatology, Dr. LaRusso then completed a clinical pharmacology fellowship with Thomas Jefferson in Philadelphia while concurrently performing translational research in dermatology under the world renowned physician and researcher, Jouni Uitto, M.D., Ph.D.
Dr. LaRusso’s research focus was on an inherited skin disease PXE (Psuedoxanthoma elasticum.) After finishing the clinical pharmacology fellowship, Dr. LaRusso entered a dermatology residency at Thomas Jefferson where she continued her work. She has published numerous articles and has received multiple accolades for her research in PXE, including the Johson-Beerman Award, the Everett C. Fox Residents & Fellows Award and the Stelwagon Prize.
During her time spent in the laboratory, Dr. LaRusso decided to pursue a fellowship in Mohs surgery. She trained under Dr. Roger Ceilley in West Des Moines, Iowa. Dr. Ceilley, former president of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American College of Mohs Surgery, was a student of Frederic E. Mohs and is board certified in dermatology and dermatopathology. Working with Dr. Ceilley, Dr. LaRusso received stellar training in both dermatopathology and reconstructive surgery.
After completing her fellowship through the American College of Mohs Surgery in Iowa, Dr. LaRusso and her family returned to the east coast. She has worked as a traveling Mohs surgeon for numerous dermatology offices in NJ, PA, and DE. By traveling to different offices, Dr. LaRusso has acquired valuable insight and experience on how successful dermatology practices operate.
Gerard Stroup, known to his colleagues and patients as “Gerry”, graduated from MCP Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, PA in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physician Assistant Studies. Since graduation Mr. Stroup has worked for Princeton Dermatology Associates in Princeton, New Jersey; Connolly Skin Care in Linwood, New Jersey; and most recently Burke Dermatology in Dover and Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Gerry is best known for his cordial patient manner, his ability to relate to his patients with humor, and his dedication to his patients’ care.
Mr. Stroup’s entry into the healthcare field began in the United States Navy, serving as a Hospital Corpsman and Basic X-ray technologist aboard the USS Tripoli LPH-10. He has served in deployments to Asia, the Persian Gulf and Somalia during times of conflict. After serving a four-year tour of duty onboard ship and later with the Naval Reserves in San Diego, CA, Gerry passionately pursued his dream of becoming a Physician Assistant. Proving his tenacity and established work-ethic, Gerry obtained his Associate of Science Degree in Human Biology and another Associate of Arts Degree in Philosophy from San Diego Community College while working full-time as a Certified Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant and X-ray technologist in the San Diego area.
Gerry moved back to his hometown in New Jersey in 1999 to better assist his aging parents while awaiting acceptance to the prestigious MCP Hahnemann University (now known as Drexel University) Physician Assistant program, working full-time as a Medical Assistant Instructor at Ultrasound Diagnostic School in Iselin, New Jersey.
Over his well-established medical career dating back to 1990, Mr. Stroup has held positions in medical practice ranging from Hospital Corpsman, Certified Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, Medical Assistant Instructor, and Basic X-ray technician. He has received additional training as an Emergency Medical Technician, Audiometric Technician and Phlebotomist.
Mr. Stroup resides in a rural town in Maryland with his wife of 16 years and four children and is an active leader in the local Boy Scout Troop and Cub Scout Pack. Mr. Stroup maintains an active membership in the American Legion and Lodge #115 AF&AM, also located in Maryland.
