He earned his undergraduate degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY. He later obtained his medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix and completed his Dermatology residency training with HonorHealth in Scottsdale, AZ.
Prior to attending medical school, Dr. Vigil proudly served as a medic and Blackhawk helicopter pilot in the United States Army. He is an experienced leader, Operation Enduring Freedom veteran, and was named a National Pat Tillman Scholar in 2018.
Dr. Vigil’s military service has shaped his approach to patient care, cultivating a strong sense of discipline, empathy, and attention to detail in his dermatology practice. Dr. Ertz-Archambault is triple board-certified in Hematology, Medical Oncology, and Internal Medicine, dedicated to providing expert and compassionate care to patients facing blood disorders and cancers, with a special emphasis in breast cancer. Dr. Ertz-Archambault has dedicated her career to serving the Phoenix cancer community. She spent over four years caring for the underserved cancer population at Valleywise Health, where she partnered with the breast cancer team honored with The Spirit of Healing Award from the Cancer Support Community of Arizona in 2022. Her commitment extends beyond the clinic through volunteer work, charity educational programs, and quality improvement initiatives for underserved cancer patients. Dr Ertz-Archambault is an active member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology. She also serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor at Creighton University, Phoenix School of Medicine, mentoring the next generation of physicians. He is passionate about skin cancer prevention, early detection, and advanced treatment through Mohs surgery, as well as other modern and cutting edge modalities. He also provides expert care for a wide range of general dermatologic conditions.
Known for his patient-centered approach, Dr. Goodman believes in taking time with each individual to provide thorough, personalized care. Whether you're dealing with acne, eczema, rashes, or skin cancer concerns, he ensures every patient receives the focused attention they deserve.
Dr. Goodman earned his undergraduate degree in biology from Brigham Young University and completed medical school at Des Moines University. He went on to complete a medical internship at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in California and specialized dermatology training at the Aspen Dermatology Residency Program through Western University. He has been proudly serving the Phoenix area since 2019 and is fluent in Spanish.
Originally from Tucson and raised in Southern California, Dr. Goodman now lives in Arizona with his wife and four sons. Outside of the office, he enjoys mountain biking, hiking, golfing, racquet sports, and exploring the outdoors with his family.
Matthew Goodman MD, is a board-certified dermatologist with over 30 years of experience. Now practicing with Goodman Dermatology and Mohs Surgery in Sun City and Sun City West, Arizona. He specializes in skin cancer diagnosis, prevention, and treatment including Mohs surgery. Known for his dedication to excellence in dermatologic care, Dr. Goodman has performed thousands of procedures and is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, cancer-free skin.
Born and raised in Tucson, Arizona, Dr. Goodman earned both his undergraduate degree (with Highest Distinction) and medical degree from the University of Arizona. He completed his dermatology residency at the University of California, Irvine, where he also served as chief resident and received an NIH research fellowship. He later became a faculty assistant professor at UC Irvine, served as director of dermatology and Mohs surgery, and co-director of the UC Irvine Melanoma Center.
Dr. Goodman is a Fellow and the founding president of the American Society for Mohs Surgery. His clinical work and research have been published in numerous peer-reviewed medical journals, and he has been honored multiple times as a Physician of Excellence by his peers.
Outside of work, Dr. Goodman enjoys life with his wife, Kay, and their five children, and thirteen grandchildren. After decades in private practice, he is proud to open a new dermatology office in Sun City and Sun City West, AZ, offering expert skin care rooted in decades of experience and a commitment to personalized treatment.
