Robert Ecker, MD, FAAD, is an experienced, board-certified dermatologist serving patients at Integrated Dermatology of Groton in Groton, Connecticut.
Dr. Ecker earned his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the University of Colorado. After which, he worked in pharmaceutical research for nearly 10 years. Through his time in research, Dr. Ecker knew his rightful place was working directly with patients.
He returned to school at the University of Washington in Seattle, earning his medical degree, and completed his internship at the Virginia Mason Hospital. Relocating to Wisconsin, Dr. Ecker trained at the University of Wisconsin’s prestigious dermatology program. He also served as Chief Resident in his last year of training.
When not in the office, Dr. Ecker enjoys cooking, the outdoors, playing banjo and guitar, and spending time with his children. He enjoys caring for his patients, attending to their skin care needs, and helping them feel their best. He is a proud member of the Southeastern Connecticut community.
Mark Amster, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist at Integrated Dermatology of Newton-Brighton. He brings over three decades of experience and provides a full range of dermatology services for patients of all ages at the practice’s locations in Mashpee, Needham, and Brighton, Massachusetts. He specializes in minor surgery, including skin cancer intermediate repair with minor incisions.
Dr. Amster completed his bachelor’s degree in chemistry at Binghamton University in Binghamton, New York. He graduated with his medical degree from the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center College of Medicine in Brooklyn. He completed a dermatology residency at Kaleida Health/Buffalo General Hospital and at the Boston Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Dr. Amster is a member of the Massachusetts Board of Dermatology. He is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Mt. Auburn Hospital, and Steward St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center.
In addition to practicing medicine, Dr. Amster holds a Master of Business Administration from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University.
