Afshin David Rahimi, MD, FAAD, is the board-certified dermatologist and cosmetic surgeon at Westlake Laser and Aesthetics, serving both Los Angeles and Ventura Counties in the neighborhood of Westlake Village, California. After earning his Doctor of Medicine at the George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, DC, Dr. Rahimi went on to complete his internship at the University of California at San Diego. He then traveled back to the East Coast to complete his residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City.

Nadine Beltran, PA-C, MPAP is a physician assistant with a focus on dermatology as well as extensive experience in family medicine and acute care.

Nadine graduated from Keck School of Medicine of USC Physician Assistant Program and has been a board-certified PA since in 2016. Nadine’s expertise is focused on acne, rashes, eczema, psoriasis, hair loss, skin cancer screening, microneedling, chemical peels, lasers, botox, fillers, as well as preventative care. She is passionate about dermatology and caring for her patients. Personally trained by Dr. Raoof & the RAOOF MD Dermatology providers, Nadine is thrilled to provide excellent dermatological care to the Los Angeles community.

She was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley. She speaks Spanish fluently. Rebecca received her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley, where she studied psychology. She later went on to receive her second Bachelor's in Nursing as well as her Masters in Family Nurse Practitioner at Columbia University in the city of New York. She continued her focused education in Dermatology under the tutelage of Dr. David Goldberg of Skin Laser and Surgery Specialists of NY and NJ where she completed her Dermatology Fellowship. There she gained a profound knowledge of cosmetic and medical dermatology as well as an understanding of the use of lasers.

Michelle Banayan, PA-C, MSPA is a Physician Assistant with a focus in dermatology, primary care, and clinical research.

Michelle graduated Magna Cum Laude from Southern California University of Health Sciences where she learned the importance of both medical and holistic approaches to health. Trained personally by Dr. Raoof and NP Rebecca Raoof, Michelle’s expertise is focused on eczema, psoriasis, hair loss, skin cancer screening, microneedling, chemical peels, lasers, acne, rashes, and thyroid function. She is an advocate for preventative medicine and always promotes routine screening exams for her patients. Michelle is a great listener and makes sure each patient has a personalized treatment plan.

About Dr. Mayha Patel

Dr. Mayha Patel is the founder of CoCo Dermatology and Cosmetics and a board-certified dermatologist with broad expertise in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She is dedicated to delivering thoughtful, evidence-based care tailored to the unique needs of each patient, with an emphasis on clinical precision and individualized treatment.

Dr. Patel graduated with distinction from the University of California, Davis, where she was recognized for her academic achievements and contributions to undergraduate research. She went on to earn her Medical Degree from the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific, and completed her dermatology residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, where she received comprehensive training in a wide range of dermatologic conditions and procedures.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Patel serves as Associate Clinical Faculty at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, where she is actively involved in resident education and mentorship. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Osteopathic Association, and remains engaged in ongoing academic and professional development within the field of dermatology.

He is a fellow member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Board of Dermatology, and the American Society of Mohs Surgery (Practicing Mohs surgery since 2000), and a member of the California Society of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery. He currently serves as a clinical instructor of dermatology at David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA where he trains internal medicine residents doing electives in Dermatology.

Keith Llewellyn, MD, FAAD, is a highly trained board certified micrographic dermatologic surgeon and dermatologist who practices at Aloe Dermatology in Santa Barbara, Santa Ynez, and Solvang, California. He serves patients living in Ventura, Santa Barbara, Santa Ynez, Santa Maria, Solvang, and the surrounding communities. He specializes in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. 

Dr. Llewellyn completed two years of internal medicine training before finishing his dermatology and dermasurgery residencies. His training in internal medicine sets Dr. Llewellyn apart from other dermatologists. It provides a strong foundation for offering superior dermatologic care.

Dr. Llewellyn completed his residency at The George Washington University in Washington, DC. He participated in grand rounds at the National Institutes of Health, Bethesda Naval Hospital, Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, and MedStar Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC. 

He has seen, diagnosed, and treated numerous conditions and complex cases. He grew up all over the country and has called 12 different places home throughout his lifetime. 

Dr. Llewellyn moved to Santa Barbara because of its small-town feel, where he could comfortably settle down, raise a family, and pursue his passion for improving skin health and the overall wellness of patients of all ages. 

In his free time, Dr. Llewellyn enjoys hiking, biking, surfing, paddleboarding, kayaking, running, camping, and participating in other outdoor activities with his wife and three beautiful girls.
