Lorena Dollani M.D specializes in both Dermatology and Internal Medicine. Dr. Dollani’s scope of practice includes medical dermatology for both children and adults, surgical dermatology, and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Dollani grew up in Massachusetts. She earned her B.S. in Microbiology, with the highest honors of Summa Cum Laude from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and her M.D at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Dr. Dollani was also inducted in the Gold Humanism Medical Honor Society for her excellence in clinical care, leadership, compassion and dedication.

Dr. Dollani then completed a rigorous five-year combined residency in Dermatology and Internal Medicine at Georgetown University and Washington Hospital Center, where she served as Chief Resident during her last year of training. During her residency she trained at Children’s National Medical Center, National Institutes of Health, and INOVA Melanoma and Skin Cancer Center. Dr. Dollani has presented at multiple state and national conferences and authored multiple manuscripts in scholarly journals in dermatology.

When not seeing patients, Dr. Dollani is an avid foodie and traveler. Along with her husband, she owns a small chocolate shop in Washington DC, where they curate chocolates from around the world. Most of all, she enjoys spending time with her 3-year-old son.

Sanna Ronkainen, M.D, F.A.A.D. is a board-certified dermatologist. Dr. Ronkainen is a Northern Virginia native, born and raised in Fairfax County. She graduated from St. Stephen’s and St. Agnes School in Alexandria, and earned her B.A. in Biochemistry and Cell Biology at Rice University in Houston, Texas. Upon graduation from Rice, she was awarded a Thomas J. Watson Fellowship--a grant to pursue research through travel in a topic of personal interest--studying type 1 diabetes. During her fellowship she traveled to Argentina, Tonga, India, Hong Kong, South Africa, and Tanzania. She returned to Washington, DC for medical school at Georgetown University, where she graduated cum laude and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society as recognition of her academic excellence.

Dr. Ronkainen then completed a five-year combined residency in Dermatology and Internal Medicine at the University of Minnesota, where she participated in the global health track and served as Chief Resident during her final year. During her residency she was awarded the Arnold P. Gold Foundation Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award and was inducted in the Gold Humanism Medical Honor Society for her enthusiasm for teaching medical students.

Prior to joining District Dermatology, Dr. Ronkainen served as an assistant professor at Georgetown University School of Medicine and worked at the Medstar Washington Hospital Center Department of Dermatology. Dr. Ronkainen is delighted to serve her home community. She enjoys caring for patients with a wide variety of skin concerns and is committed to developing tailored treatment plans for each of her patients. Olivia Schenck, M.D., F.A.A.D. is a board-certified dermatologist. She was born and raised in Harrisonburg, Virginia. She attended Princeton University, where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Molecular Biology and certificate in Chinese Cultural Studies. She earned her M.D. from the University of Virginia School of Medicine, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society for her academic achievements. She completed both her preliminary internal medicine residency and dermatology residency at Northwestern University in Chicago, IL, where she served as Chief Resident in her final year. During her residency she received training at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago, and Jesse Brown Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

Prior to joining District Dermatology, Dr. Schenck served as an assistant professor at the University of Virginia School of Medicine’s Department of Dermatology, seeing patients in clinic while teaching residents and medical students. During her time with the department, she served as the Medical Student Clerkship Director for Dermatology and served on the UVA Medical School Admissions Committee. During her years with the department, she earned Patient Experience Provider Awards for her commitment to exceptional quality in patient care. Dr. Schenck is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and has authored multiple manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals in dermatology.

Dr. Schenck is passionate about providing the highest quality patient care and truly appreciates getting to know and connecting with her patients. Dr. Monique Chheda is a board certified dermatologist. She is a native of Chicago. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan, where she graduated with honors. She went on to complete her medical school education at the University of Illinois - Chicago Medical School, where she graduated at the top of her class, being accepted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She completed her dermatology residency at the University of Chicago, where she also served as Chief Resident in her final year.

She has been in both academic and private practice since completing her training, practicing in Maryland and New Jersey prior to joining District Dermatology. Dr. Chheda is passionate about providing high-quality dermatologic care for her patients. Board-certified dermatologist Al Damavandy, MD provides the highest quality medical and cosmetic skin care available to patients of all ages. Dr. Damavandy lives with his wife, local pediatrician Dr. Florencia Segura, in McLean, Virginia. Urvi Gonzalez, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist skilled in medical and cosmetic dermatology. She offers expert care to patients at Integrated Dermatology of Fairfax in Fairfax, Virginia. 

Dr. Gonzalez specializes in the detection and removal of skin cancers, the diagnosis and treatment of acne, psoriasis, and other inflammatory skin conditions, and the development of anti-aging strategies and treatments, including injectables and lasers.

She graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge with a Bachelor of Science in molecular biology. Maham Siddiqui, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant from Springfield, Virginia. She works at Integrated Dermatology of Fairfax in Fairfax, Virginia, providing compassionate and effective care. 

Maham graduated from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology. During her undergraduate, she was awarded the Dean’s List and led medical mission trips to Panama and Nicaragua to build healthcare clinics for underserved communities. She also devoted four summers to researching at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. 

Maham spent the next year working as a medical assistant at Integrated Dermatology of Fairfax, where she developed her passion for skin care. She pursued her Master of Medical Science at Tufts School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. There, she completed a rigorous 25-month program, which included several clinical rotations in Boston.

Maham also completed two rotations here at Integrated Dermatology of Fairfax, where she further solidified her training. To finish her education, Maham completed a research project focusing on diet and acne, which she presented to the Tufts Medical community. 

Maham is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. During her free time, Maham enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her cat!

Rebecca Satoskar, MD, is an experienced board-certified dermatologist. She serves as the medical director at Integrated Dermatology of Fairfax in Fairfax, Virginia. 

Dr. Satoskar grew up in Minnesota alongside the Mississippi River. She graduated as the valedictorian of her high school class and went on to attend the University of Notre Dame in Indiana for her undergraduate work. There, she studied pre-med, completed an honors thesis in psychology, and graduated summa cum laude. 

She then attended the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine in Illinois, where she was elected into Alpha Omega Alpha, an honor signifying a lasting commitment to scholarship, leadership, professionalism, and service, which no more than 15% of all medical students achieve. Dr. Satoskar also received the American Medical Women’s Association Janet M. Glasgow Memorial Achievement Citation, which is awarded to women in the top 10% of the graduating class. 

Dr. Satoskar completed her internship in internal medicine at the University of Chicago in Illinois and her dermatology residency at the University of California — Los Angeles and the University of Chicago. After completing her training, Dr. Satoskar was in private practice and served on faculty at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. 

In 2009, Dr. Satoskar moved to the Washington, DC, area and has been active in the local dermatology community since. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and a member of the Washington DC Dermatological Society. 

When not in the office, Dr. Satoskar is an avid student of vinyasa yoga and enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters.

Amanda Derwae, MD, is one of the skilled dermatologists practicing at Integrated Dermatology of Fairfax, located in Fairfax, Virginia. 

Dr. Derwae spent most of her youth in a small town west of Charleston, West Virginia, before attending the University of Georgia for her undergraduate studies. There, she earned a degree in biology with a minor in mathematics and was UGA’s Air Force ROTC Distinguished Graduate in 2003. As a Second Lieutenant in the Air Force, she completed medical school at Uniformed Services University in Bethesda, Maryland, followed by a Transitional Internship at San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium. Her training accolades include Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society, 2012 Association of Military Surgeons of the United States Award (most outstanding overall performance in academics and leadership by a medical student), and SAUSHEC’s John H. Gillespie Outstanding Intern 2013. 

Following her internship, Dr. Derwae served as a flight surgeon for the 563rd Operational Support Squadron, providing medical care and training for the 66th and 58th Rescue Squadrons at Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada. Ask her about the coolest job she’ll ever have, and this is what she’ll tell you about. Dr. Derwae then had a unique opportunity as an Air Force physician to attend a civilian dermatology residency, and she graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2019 with specialized training in Global Health. Dr. Derwae served as the Dermatology Element Chief at David Grant Medical Center on Travis Air Force Base in California from 2019-2022. 

After her Air Force career, the Derwae family moved to Springfield, Virginia, to be closer to family. Dr. Derwae adores her husband and their 4-year-old son, has a moderate Peloton addiction, and loves to travel.

Samantha Hancock, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant at Integrated Dermatology of Fairfax in Fairfax, Virginia. 

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Samantha attended Pennsylvania State University in Centre Country and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology/genetics. Around this time, she worked as direct support for adults with physical and mental disabilities in Northeast Philadelphia. 

After completing her undergraduate degree, Samantha attended Salus University in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania, and graduated with a Master of Medical Science in physician assistant studies. 

Throughout her education, Samantha always held a special interest in the field of dermatology. In 2013, she decided to take the leap and follow her passion, leading her to join the Integrated Dermatology of Fairfax team. 

Samantha is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Virginia Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. 

Outside of the office, Samantha enjoys spending time with her family and friends, as well as experiencing her new surroundings.

Kelley Pagliai Redbord, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist who specializes in Mohs micrographic surgery, skin cancer, dermatologic surgery, cosmetic surgery, hyperhidrosis, and laser medicine. She serves patients at Integrated Dermatology of Fairfax in Fairfax, Virginia. 

Dr. Redbord is in the office several Thursdays each month performing Mohs surgery and complex excisions for skin cancer.

Born and raised in Maryland, Dr. Redbord received her Bachelor of Science at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, where she graduated cum laude, and her medical degree from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. 

After completing her dermatology residency as chief resident at the University of Cincinnati in Ohio, Dr. Redbord was accepted as a fellow in Mohs micrographic surgery and procedural dermatology at the Laser and Skin Surgery Center of Indiana in Indianapolis under the mentorship of Dr. C. William Hanke.

Dr. Redbord is an active member and holds leadership roles in the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Medical Association, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the American College of Mohs Surgery, the Women’s Dermatologic Society, the Washington, D.C. Dermatologic Society, and the International Hyperhidrosis Society. She is an associate clinical professor of dermatology at The George Washington University. 

Dr. Redbord has presented original research at local and national conferences and written many articles on topics such as skin cancer, injectable fillers, photodynamic therapy, liposuction, facial nerve blocks, anesthesia, and laser medicine. Dr. Redbord has testified before governmental bodies, including the Food and Drug Administration, and has met with members of Congress in support of numerous dermatological issues.

Sanders H. Berk, MD, FAAD, is a board-certified dermatologist who has been practicing dermatology for 40 years. He currently works at Shady Grove Dermatology in Rockville, Maryland. 

Dr. Berk received his medical degree from the University of Maryland in College Park with honors. He completed his internship and dermatology training at the University of Miami in Florida under Dr. Harvey Blank. 

Dr. Berk is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. He was selected as one of the “Top Doctors” in the Washingtonian Magazine. He's also published articles in the New England Journal of Medicine and the Archives of Dermatology. Josef Yeager, MD, FAAD, is an experienced board-certified dermatologist serving patients at Shady Grove Dermatology in Rockville, Maryland. Dr. Yeager has been practicing in Maryland since 1990. 

He received his undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina in Columbia and his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. He completed his internship at Spartanburg Regional Hospital in South Carolina.

Dr. Yeager served in the United States Navy, where he trained as an aviation medical officer. Later, he completed his residency in dermatology at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, and became a member of the teaching staff there. 

Besides treating patients, he contributed to resident education and published over 50 articles on research studies and case reports. He was the principal investigator on two research projects that the National Institutes of Health sponsored; he taught as an associate professor of dermatology at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences, and he was an assistant professor of clinical dermatology at Georgetown University. 

Dr. Yeager also enjoyed serving as a dermatology consultant to the United States Congress. In addition, he was a reviewer for the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology. 

He is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, a fellow of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and a member of the International Society of Dermatology, the Washington D.C. Caroline E. Yeager, MD, FAAD, is a board-certified dermatologist at Shady Grove Dermatology in Rockville, Maryland.

Dr. Caroline Yeager was born at the Naval Hospital and raised in Bethesda, Maryland. She spent grades three to twelve at the Holton-Arms School, where she graduated as the ranking scholar (valedictorian) and as a National Merit Scholar. 

She then attended Princeton University in New Jersey, where she graduated summa cum laude and majored in classics with a certificate in medieval studies. At Princeton University, she received the Shapiro Prize for Academic Excellence and the Classics Department’s Atkins Prize for best senior thesis. Dr. Caroline Yeager is a member of Princeton University’s Phi Beta Kappa honor society.

Dr. Caroline Yeager attended Duke Medical School in Durham, North Carolina. She was the recipient of a Howard Hughes Medical Institute NIH Research Scholarship, which brought her back to Bethesda to do research at the National Human Genome Research Institute at NIH. She continued to research chemotherapy-induced hair loss when she returned to Duke. 

She received her medical degree in 2011. While there, Dr. Caroline Yeager was awarded membership into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honorary society for her outstanding scholarship as well as leadership. In addition, Duke University Hospital awarded her the “Strength, Hope and Caring” Award for her dedication to compassionate patient care; it had never before been awarded to a medical student instead of a resident doctor or nurse.

Dr. Caroline Yeager came back to the Washington, D.C., area to do her internship at the George Washington University Hospital, where she received the Internal Medicine Preliminary Intern of the Year award and the George Washington University Hospital Service Excellence Pillar Award.

Dr. Caroline Yeager completed her training at Emory Medical School in Atlanta, Georgia, for her dermatology residency, from which she graduated in June 2015. During her third year of residency, she served as the Curriculum Chief Resident for Emory University Dermatology Residency.

Smitha Kuppalli, MD, is a physician partner at Dermatology & Advanced Skin Care in Columbia, Maryland. She is a board-certified dermatologist and has been with the practice since 2015. 

Dr. Kuppalli received her medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore and completed her residency in dermatology at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. 

Before returning to her home roots in Howard County, she was on faculty at the University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville and, more recently, was an assistant professor in the Department of Dermatology at Columbia University in New York, New York.

After his internship at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland, he completed his dermatology residency at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Then, he completed a fellowship in Mohs surgery and procedural dermatology.
