Dr. Sarah Fishman is an endocrinologist in private practice in New York City. At her practice in Midtown Manhattan, she provides a wide range of endocrinology care and services.
After completing her medical and PhD degrees at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, she continued her training in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology at Lenox Hill Hospital. She is affiliated with Mount Sinai Hospital and Northwell Health Lenox Hill Hospital, where she serves as an associate professor. As part of her academic appointment, Dr. Fishman has conducted research studies on evaluating biomarkers, chemicals that can be detected by blood tests, to identify patients with diabetes who may be at higher risk of cardiovascular events. In addition, she has spearheaded projects to improve physician and nurse empathy towards patients with diabetes, and on the use of continuous glucose monitors in hospitalized patients.
Recently, Dr. Fishman served as the in-house endocrinologist at Lenox Hill Hospital at the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, working alongside critical care physicians to develop new protocols for the management of COVID-19 related endocrine disorders. Anastasios Manessis, MD, FACE, ECNU, ABOM, is a double-board certified physician at Endocrine Associates of West Village PC in Murray Hill, Manhattan, and Long Island City, New York, specializing in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism and obesity medicine. Dr. Manessis has an endocrine certification in neck ultrasounds and has extensive experience in diagnosing, treating, and managing endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid disorders, hormonal dysfunction, and obesity.
Dr. Manessis pursued his undergraduate education at Manhattan College, graduating magna cum laude with distinction in biochemistry. Dr. Gulati achieved her Bachelor of Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York, in a 6-year accelerated BS/MD program, where she distinguished herself by graduating cum laude. Dr. Gulati completed her medical degree at Albany Medical College and her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Emory University School of Medicine. Her training culminated with a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Connecticut Health Center.

A New Jersey native, Dr. Persaud received her Bachelor of Science from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, before completing her medical degree at the Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. She then completed her REI fellowship at Rutgers-New Jersey Medical School, following in the footsteps of University Reproductive Associates physicians Peter McGovern, MD, Susan Wolf, MD, Adam Fechner, MD, and Sara Morelli, MD, PhD. It was during Dr. Persaud’s fellowship that she learned about University Reproductive Associates and knew that was where she hoped to practice.
Dr. Persaud’s three-year REI fellowship consisted of 18 months of research followed by another 18 months of clinical experience, predominantly at University Reproductive Associates, where she worked one-on-one with all of the physicians in the group practice to learn about reproductive endocrinology and infertility, assisting with surgeries and observing how they interact with patients.
Dr. Persaud knew she wanted to specialize in obstetrics as she loved the prospect of bringing life into the world. She was drawn to the subspecialty of infertility because it was a way of helping couples become families through the ever-changing technological and medical treatments and procedures.
