Dr. Goldberg-Berman cares for patients with a wide variety of endocrine disorders including thyroid, osteoporosis, diabetes, pituitary, adrenal, and both female and male hormonal imbalances. Her doctoral research was in the area of obesity, brown adipose tissue, and thermogenesis. During her endocrine fellowship she pursued research in the molecular genetics of obesity. Dr. Goldberg-Berman established her endocrinology practice in Greenwich CT in 1994 and serves as the Chief of the Division of Endocrinology at Greenwich Hospital.
Kavitha Persaud, MD, is a double board-certified physician who works at the University Reproductive Associates offices in Wayne, New Jersey, and Goshen, New York, covers Doc of the Day at Hasbrouck Heights, and provides care there as needed.
A New Jersey native, Dr. Persaud received her Bachelor of Science from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, before completing her medical degree at the Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. She then completed her REI fellowship at Rutgers-New Jersey Medical School, following in the footsteps of University Reproductive Associates physicians Peter McGovern, MD, Susan Wolf, MD, Adam Fechner, MD, and Sara Morelli, MD, PhD. It was during Dr. Persaud’s fellowship that she learned about University Reproductive Associates and knew that was where she hoped to practice.
Dr. Persaud’s three-year REI fellowship consisted of 18 months of research followed by another 18 months of clinical experience, predominantly at University Reproductive Associates, where she worked one-on-one with all of the physicians in the group practice to learn about reproductive endocrinology and infertility, assisting with surgeries and observing how they interact with patients.
Dr. Persaud knew she wanted to specialize in obstetrics as she loved the prospect of bringing life into the world. She was drawn to the subspecialty of infertility because it was a way of helping couples become families through the ever-changing technological and medical treatments and procedures.
Adam Fechner, MD, is a double board-certified OB/GYN practicing at University Reproductive Associates in Hasbrouck Heights, Wayne, and Millburn, New Jersey, and Goshen, New York. He specializes in endometriosis, recurrent pregnancy loss, uterine fibroids, in vitro fertilization, polycystic ovary syndrome, and minimally invasive reproductive surgery.
Dr. Fechner earned his bachelor’s degree at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and his Doctorate of Medicine at New Jersey Medical School in Newark, New Jersey. He also completed an OB/GYN residency and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility fellowship at New Jersey Medical School. Dr. Fechner received training to operate with the da Vinci®️ Surgical Robot.
In addition to seeing patients at University Reproductive Associates, Dr. Fechner is an assistant professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Women’s Health at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and director of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Hackensack University Center. He is double board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Ndidiamaka Onwubalili, MD, is a reproductive endocrinologist, infertility specialist, and an essential team member at University Reproductive Associates. Dr. Onwubalili works with patients at the offices in Millburn and Denville, New Jersey, and Goshen, New York, and performs surgeries and procedures at Hasbrouck Heights, providing personalized care in a warm and welcoming manner.
Dr. Onwubalili has always embraced the challenges and rewards of higher education. She earned her Bachelor of Science in biology at Georgian Court College in Lakewood, New Jersey, before completing her medical degree at Dartmouth Medical School in Hanover, New Hampshire.
She followed those degrees with a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, where she served as administrative chief resident. Dr. Onwubalili then completed fellowship training in reproductive endocrinology at New Jersey Medical School in Newark and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Dr. Onwubalili makes every effort to get to know those in her care. She understands the emotional challenges that accompany reproductive health challenges and strives to make patients feel secure in the quality of care they can expect from University Reproductive Associates.
