Dr. Derbyshire studied at the University of Tampa in Tampa, Florida, where he double-majored in chemistry and English. He went on to earn a master’s degree in biomedical engineering from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark.
Dr. Derbyshire graduated from medical school in Knoxville, Tennessee, in 2016. He completed his otolaryngology (ENT) and facial plastic surgery residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center-Hamot in Erie, Pennsylvania, where he was voted chief resident in his final year.
Dr. Derbyshire was involved in many research projects throughout his training. He had a paper published in the ENT Ear, Nose, & Throat Journal. Dr. Derbyshire stays current with advances in ENT medicine and surgical techniques to benefit his patients with the most effective, safest treatments.
