As an experienced nurse, Maghal has worked in several different health care settings, including hospitals and family practice settings in the state of Maryland. She previously worked as a night shift charge nurse at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital in Rockville, Maryland, for several years before taking a position as a family nurse practitioner at Menocal Family Practice in Frederick.

Over 15 years in health care, Niambi has worked in emergency rooms, as a forensic examiner, and at the bedside. During the height of the pandemic Niambi took travel assignments to provide emergency staffing for those in need of care during a trying time for the nation. In 2022, she started The Whole Body Wellness Center. Loving the practice of medicine and seeing the current shortage of family practice providers she has left the acute care setting with the goal of providing care to patients both in person and virtually.
