About Dr. Lopez

Dr. Jaxel Lopez-Sepulveda is a board-certified family medicine physician serving men, women, and children at Clinica tu Salud in Irving, Texas. Dr. Lopez-Sepulveda is dedicated to providing his patients with compassionate, affordable, and individualized care. He founded Clinica tu Salud in 2017.

Dr. Lopez-Sepulveda was born in Puerto Rico and grew up interested in medicine and helping others. He looked up to his father, Dr. Angel Luis López Ruiz, a well-established surgeon in Puerto Rico.

At a young age, Dr. Lopez-Sepulveda realized his vocation to become a physician. His childhood brimmed with trips to the hospital where he would accompany and observe his father at work.

Since his early years, Dr. Lopez-Sepulveda has found the field of medicine riveting and believes the experiences with his father taught him the framework and principles of methodical, empathetic, and efficient care. His primary goal is to enhance patient wellness overall.

Dr. Lopez-Sepulveda aims to help men, women, and children in Irving, Texas, and the surrounding areas. His premise is that it doesn’t matter where you stand economically, you deserve access to the highest standard of medical care.

Dr. Niti Randhawa is a Board Certified in Family Medicine and has been a practicing physician for 20 years. She is a proud native of Plano, Texas where she graduated from Plano Senior High School in 1988. She did her undergraduate training in pre-med at Baylor University in Waco, Texas where she earned a BA in Biology in 1992. She earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio in 1996 where she was classmates with Dr. Chrisette Dharma. She then completed her residency in family medicine in 1999 at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas, one of the most prestigious family medicine programs in the state of Texas. 

Dr. Randhawa chose medicine as her lifelong calling at a very early age when it became clear that she had a deep desire to help others, especially those who suffered from illness and disease. Throughout her medical training and career, she developed a deep interest in combining traditional, natural medicine with proven complementary and alternative methods for healing. She continues to study and pursue this exciting side of medicine, because she feels strongly that both sides are necessary for helping patients to achieve optimal health and well-being. After completing her medical training, Dr. Randhawa was honored to work with a well known Complementary and Alternative Medicine physician in North Texas to hone in on this cutting edge aspect of medicine. Dr. Randhawa brings her insight and training to Southwest Family Medicine Associates so we can continue to offer our patients the most advanced medicine. 

When Dr. Randhawa is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, her son, and her dog, a 200-pound Great Dane. She enjoys traveling, exercising, playing the piano and has an ongoing quest and thirst for knowledge.

Dr. Spitzer is a board-certified family physician whose career has spanned more than 25 years guiding patients through recovery from cardiac surgery, coronary artery stenting, and post-myocardial infarctions using the power of exercise. As she observed how lifestyle changes positively impacted her patients' overall health, Dr. Spitzer decided to pursue the field of lifestyle medicine.

Now fully certified in both family medicine and lifestyle medicine, Dr. Spitzer is passionate about providing holistic healthcare and lending her expertise to Southwest Mind & Body Care in Dallas, TX. She leads a team of holistic wellness specialists using clinically proven therapeutic lifestyle interventions alongside natural medicine to treat and prevent chronic conditions. A graduate of UT San Antonio, “Dr. J” (as she is known to her patients) joined us in 2004. Dr. Jaiswal heads our care coordination and outreach program that ensures the highest quality of care and customer service. She gets much joy in caring for those who are in need, and is known for her loving and compassionate bedside manners, especially when caring for the elderly. Her clinical emphasis is on managing hypertension and heart disease. Outside of work Dr Jaiswal enjoys spending time with family and friends.

 

 Sarah Ashitey, MD is board certified in Family Medicine and provides comprehensive care both for the individual and family. She brings a patient-centered personal touch into every encounter and believes that each patient’s unique story is central to the healing process and path to wholeness and wellbeing.

She obtained her medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas and completed her residency at the esteemed John Peter Smith Hospital residency program. It is here that she gained the tools needed for broad spectrum family medicine as well as an unparalleled experience in procedural training.

Consequently Dr. Ashitey is able to offer her patients a wide array of services from her skill set including but not limited to chronic disease management, joint injections and dry needling, laser therapy and hormone therapy.

She heads up the Sexual Healing and Wellness programs at Southwest Family where we offer Adam and Eve packages using laser and PRP shots for Penile Enhancement and Vaginal Rejuvenation.

Dr. Sarah has an integrative philosophical background, so she works with the whole person to combine meds, and other natural modalities to get the best results.

In her spare time, she enjoys storytelling, travel, and playing tennis. She has a special interest in community health and development and lends her time outside of clinical hours to community-based research and various community health initiatives.

Dr. Monica Ramirez is a Dallas native who has just completed her residency at UT Health San Antonio.  She is excited to be back in Dallas and thrilled to be joining Southwest Family Medicine Associates. 

Dr. Ramirez pursued Family Medicine as it allows her to form trusting and long-lasting relationships with patients and their family members. She is a strong believer of the “whole person” approach which is at the heart of family medicine and an advocate of education and preventive medicine.

After completing her residency in 1999 at St. Paul’s Hospital in Dallas, Dr. Dharma single handedly grew her small medical practice into Southwest Family Medicine Associates (SFMA). As the medical director, she brings her passion for innovative and cutting edge technology to the practice, and worked to secure recognition of SFMA as a “medical home” from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA)-an elite accreditation which only 1,500 clinics in the nation hold. Dr. Dharma has a “no stone left unturned” philosophy to medicine, which has earned her a strong following of patients. She also believes that prevention is the key to good health, which lead her to establish our on-site wellness center in 2014. Her dedication to medicine is represented by the multiple board positions she holds, including president of her local chapter to being on the board of the national Texas of Physicians- (TAFP). As an associate clinical faculty member at UT Southwestern, she has taught medical student for over 15 years. In her spare time, she enjoys cross-fit, Capoeira martial arts, and spending time with ther family.

Daphne Jones-Black, FNP-BC, is a board-certified and highly accomplished family nurse practitioner, certified case manager, and certified occupational hearing conservationist. Daphne leads the expert team at Heart of Hope Housecalls, a patient-centered practice specializing in telehealth and house calls around the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex region of Texas.

Daphne’s educational journey began at Concorde Career Institute-Arlington, where she completed a vocational nursing program that laid the groundwork for her career. She further honed her nursing skills at Excelsior University in Albany, New York, earning an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Registered Nursing in 2011.

Driven by a passion for nursing and a commitment to excellence, Daphne continued her education at Chamberlain University in Downers Grove, Illinois, where she achieved a bachelor’s degree as a registered nurse in 2014.

With a thirst for knowledge and a desire to expand her scope of practice, she pursued a master’s degree in family practitioner nursing at Chamberlain University, solidifying her expertise in primary and ambulatory care delivery.

Daphne has earned a reputation as a strategic nursing leader with a focus on achieving award-winning patient experiences. She prioritizes patient care above all else, understanding the importance of taking a holistic approach to care in a concerning, challenging, and heartfelt environment. She strives to deliver high-quality care at Heart of Hope Housecalls and welcomes the opportunity to connect with new and returning patients.

Lewis Nyantika, APRN, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Practice Nurse Practitioner and Primary Care Practitioner at Primecare Family Practice in Arlington, Texas. Mr. Nyantika, who also goes by “Lewis,” prides himself in providing high-quality, compassionate, and individualized care that is both accessible and affordable.

He earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Texas Tech University (TTU) in Lubbock, Texas. Next, he achieved a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA).

Lewis holds a national certification with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) as a family nurse practitioner.He thoroughly enjoys his work, helping patients in different areas of medicine, including the Emergency Room, Outpatient Urgent Care, and Primary Care. He specializes in Chronic Disease Management, Primary and Multi-Specialty Care, and Family Medicine. Lewis is fluent in both English and Swahili and looks forward to serving you.He is currently accepting new patients.

 

Maryline Ongangi, APRN, FNP-C, is a board-certified Primary Care Practitioner at the private medical practice Primecare Family Practice in Arlington, Texas. Ms. Ongangi, who also goes by “Maryline,” is a trusted and reliable nurse practitioner based in the Arlington area. She feels fortunate to be serving the community she calls home.

Maryline attended Texas Tech University (TTU) in Lubbock, Texas, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree. Next, she attended Texas A&M University in College Station, where she achieved her Master’s Degree in Family Nursing.

Patients see Maryline for various reasons, including chronic disease management, acute visits, sports physicals, well woman exams, testosterone therapy, minor procedures, and pediatric consultations.

Besides caring for patients, Maryline enjoys spending time with her family and gardening. She has two dogs, and they, too, like to help in her garden, especially when they decide to sample a few of her vegetables. Maryline has a wonderful husband and three beautiful kids.

Paul Worrell, DO, leads the team at Dallas Family Medicine in Dallas, Texas. His goal for the clinic was to create a space where he could treat the entire family. Dr. Worrell finds it incredibly rewarding to treat three and sometimes even four generations of the same family.

Dr. Worrell graduated with honors from The University of Texas at Austin before receiving his Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine from the University of North Texas Health Sciences Center in Ft. Worth, Texas. As Associate Professor of Family Medicine, he has taught numerous medical students, nurse practitioners, PA students, interns, and residents throughout his career.

Knowing the entire family helps Dr. Worrell have a comprehensive understanding of each patient's needs. He believes in taking a conservative approach to treating patients, with surgery and even certain drugs being the last alternative. Modesta Onyia is a doctoral-prepared nurse practitioner focused on nursing practice and family medicine. Her wide range of clinical interests includes health promotion and disease prevention of patients across the lifespan. She has been practicing since 2013. Modesta completed her bachelor’s degree in nursing at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and received a master’s of nursing science degree in Family Nurse practitioner (Cum laude) from Texas Woman’s University in 2013. She completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2018 at Texas Woman’s University in Dallas, Tx. Modesta has worked in different settings including inpatient and outpatient settings. She is a certified CPR instructor and is a Functional medicine graduate at SAFM. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, North Texas nurse practitioners, and the National Association of Nigeria Nurse Practitioners US, among others. She believes that health is wealth when you know you do better.

Adolphus started out his career as a young staff nurse and worked his way up. He received his bachelor’s degree in nursing from Texas Woman’s University in 2005, and subsequently obtained his master’s and doctorate degree from the same school in 2011 and 2018 respectively. Adolphus has worked in a variety of healthcare settings, including hospitals, long-term care facilities and home health care homes. Adolphus believes in focusing on the whole person when caring for his patients. He is passionate about providing quality care while remaining mindful of his patients’ individual preferences and needs. In a world where everything is a trend, Adolphus is the one constant. From his love of the healthcare profession to his empathetic nature as a driving force, he remains steadfast in his abilities and passionate for the practice. Strong communication skills and a kind soul have been Adolphus assets in his long career dedicated to service.

Dr. Rory Allen practices Family and Occupational medicine and serves as medical director at MyFitMed. He believes in healthy and happy living and focuses mostly on preventative medicine. He provides superior bare and exceptional services to all his patients.

Dr. Allen graduated from UNT Health Science Center in Ft. Worth Texas with DO. Prior to become DO, he completed BBA. During his college years he participated in a church mission to Japan. He loves to travel and enjoys the beauty of the outdoors as well as many outdoor activities with his family such as scuba diving and snow skiing. He focuses on fitness and overall enjoys living a happy healthy lifestyle.

Outside of work Dr. Allen spends most of his time with his wife Ashley, and 8 children. Four of which are currently attending college. He has 4 grandchildren and 3 more of the way.

Dr. Julio C. Olivieri practice Internal Medicine with special Interest in Geriatric medicine. He has had private practice in DFW are for past 20 years. He also does house calls for patients in need. He goes above and beyond in helping his patients to make their life healthy and happy.

Dr. Olivieri has been treating complex medical issues since over 30 years. His practice has included the treatment of most adult illnesses including Hypertension, Diabetes, Heart disease, etc. He also performed inpatient hospital care in several Mesquite facilities such as Mesquite community hospital and Dallas Regional Medical Center. Dr. Olivieri also provides services for multiple hospice agencies due to his interest in Palliative care. He bring his years of experience to MyFitMed to help patients live healthy life.

Dr. Olivieri completed his medical school training at the University of Puerto Rico Science Campus in 1992. He the completed a 3 year residency Program in Internal Medicine at Damas Hospital Ponce P.R. He is currently married with 3 children. His hobby is traveling abroad.
