Devin Schock, MD, joined Bellevue Family Medicine in January 2021, taking over for his father Dr. Peter Schock who opened the practice over 40 years ago. Dr. Schock was raised in the Seattle area and earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington. He received his medical training at New York Medical College before returning home to complete his residency in Family Medicine at Valley Medical Center in Renton, Washington where he then practiced for 4 years before joining Bellevue Family Medicine.
Dr. Schock enjoys partnering with his patients by listening to, encouraging, educating, and empowering them to become invested in their own health. He believes that there is no “one‐size‐fits‐all” approach when it comes to practicing medicine, so he strives to develop relationships with his patients that allow him to tailor his care specific to their needs.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Schock enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. You can often find him boating, waterskiing, or wake surfing during the summer and cheering for the Seahawks and Huskies during the winter. He also enjoys DIY projects around the home.
At Bellevue Family Medicine, Dr. Schock practices under a concierge-style model affiliated with MDVIP. For more information about this program, you can visit his MDVIP webpage at www.mdvip.com/doctors/devinschockmd.
