Dr. Axel Martinez is a dedicated family medicine physician serving the Ocala, FL community. With a passion for providing comprehensive healthcare for patients of all ages, Dr. Martinez combines clinical expertise with a compassionate approach to ensure his patients receive the highest standard of care.
Dr. Martinez earned his medical degree from University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine and has been in practice for more than 20 years and he is board-certified in family medicine and has years of experience in diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide variety of medical conditions. His areas of focus include preventive care, chronic disease management, and patient education.
Our new Medical Director will be responsible for high-level oversight of the medical staff, clinical policies, quality control, and the overall operational functioning of a healthcare practice. Emily Hawkins, APRN, NP - C, is a nurse practitioner practicing at Marion Heart Center & Marion Physician Associates, which is located in Downtown Ocala and Ocala West, Florida. She joined our practice in March 2022 and believes in unique healthcare based on individual needs. She specializes in family care and internal medicine, providing complete and comprehensive treatment for all your loved ones.
Mrs. Hawkins is a 2017 honors graduate of South University (Master of Science in Nursing) and Rasmussen College (Bachelor of Science in Nursing). She has served in the Ocala community as a health care provider for 20 years and believes in personalized care, empowering patients to make informed decisions about their health, whether it's cardiac intervention, diabetic management, hypertension treatments, vein disease, or some other procedure.

Rejuvené Family Medicine was started by Rachel Sirois, APRN, FNP-BC. She has more than 12 years experience in healthcare including almost 3 years as a family nurse practitioner. She is a graduate of Jacksonville University and her first job as a nurse practitioner was in Macclenny at a convenient care clinic. It was during that time that she started noticing how many patients did not have a primary care provider. During this time, Rachel and her family fell in love with the small town feel of Macclenny and decided to purchase land, build a house, and plant some roots. They officially became Baker county residents in January 2022 and Rachel immediately started planning her clinic. She hopes that opening this clinic will help close the gap in the lack of primary care here and provide a safe, friendly, caring, and Christ-like environment for her patients. Whether you have Medicare, BCBS, or no insurance, she hopes to help make the residents of Baker county healthier!
