Sarah Lemoine is the owner and operator of Pelican Medical Wellness Center in Gonzales, LA, specializing in family medical and wellness.
As a nurse practitioner, Sarah treats chronic illnesses such as hypertension and diabetes, she provides same-day sick visits for colds, flu and minor injuries, and she is certified to perform DOT medical examinations. After earning her finance degree from LSU in 2001 while serving in the U.S. Marine Reserves, Sarah began her nursing practice with a focus in physical rehabilitation in 2009— she has experience with a wide variety of health conditions and physical injuries. Her life-long love of learning keeps her striving for excellence every day and she looks forward to a future in which her large family will healthily grow.

Dr. Adelaide Francois founded Sistascope direct primary care several years ago and has been able to bring it to fruition in 2021. As an attending, Dr. Francois frequently watched how outpatient medical facilities crammed a bunch of patients on the doctor’s schedule, leaving LESS THAN 15 minutes of dedicated physician time to the patient. Patients felt rushed. Physicians often had to turn down multiple complaints in order to properly address the most important issue. This meant even educational time with the patient was compromised. It was during this time she decided that she needed to offer a better system of care.
It is Dr. Francois’s hope that with this different model, her patients can sense a better level of care and trust from their PCP. She challenges her patients to be accountable for understanding basic concepts of their disease processes.
Paul Ikemire, MD, is a primary care physician at the modern and luxurious Nightwater Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. Dr. Ikemire takes an integrative and personalized approach to care, offering his patients a more classic patient-doctor experience that includes short wait times and comprehensive, patient-focused appointments.
After earning his Doctor of Medicine at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans and completed post-graduate training at Tulane Hospital and Clinic, also located in New Orleans.
Dr. Ikemire specializes in adult medicine and preventive healthcare. He is licensed to practice medicine in the states of Louisiana and California. To better serve his diverse community of patients, Dr. Ikemire is fluent in English and Spanish.
Dedicated to providing medical care that meets his patient’s needs, Dr. Ikemire individualizes each appointment and treatment plan. He offers both lengthy, involved consultations for those who need extra care and attention, as well as quick and efficient appointments for patients with busy schedules.
