After earning his bachelor of science in nursing at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Myers, Florida, Erick completed his master of science in Nursing at Kaplan University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. 

Erick is an HIV/AIDS care specialist and a member of the American Academy of HIV. Dedicated to providing his patients the best care possible, Erick attended a post-graduate continuing education course in transgender care at Harvard School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts.

Erick is certified in basic life support (BLS), advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS), and pediatric life support (PLS) by the American Heart Association (AHA). He’s also fluent in English and Spanish.

Estrella Vega, MD, is a board-certified family medicine and geriatric physician. With more than 12 years of experience treating patients of all ages, Dr. Vega delivers comprehensive care to residents in the community of Apopka, Florida, at I Am Healthy. She consistently incorporates a holistic approach to health care, ensuring her patients are treated in mind, body, and spirit.

Dr. Vega attended Loma Linda University School of Medicine in Loma Linda, California, before beginning her residency at Florida Hospital in Orlando, which is now part of AdventHealth. Passionate about elder care, she later completed a geriatric fellowship at the same hospital.

Jason Salagubang, MD, is a board-certified physician specializing in family medicine, who is also fellowship-trained in geriatrics. With a deep passion for wellness, Dr. Salagubang delivers exceptional care to patients throughout Apopka, Florida, and its surrounding communities at his practice, which is aptly named I Am Healthy.

Dr. Salagubang has always loved sunny skies and warm weather, so it’s no surprise that he chose Loma Linda University School of Medicine in Loma Linda, California, for medical school. He later relocated to Florida and completed his residency at Florida Hospital Medical Center.

He decided to embark on the journey of providing holistic primary care services to the community of Highlands County who has accepted him since his arrival from Puerto Rico over 6 years ago. Mr. Mata is a double board certified nurse practitioner in family medicine and nephrology and is excited to apply his knowledge and experience in the acute and chronic healthcare settings in the area of primary care in order to prevent and manage complications that can lead to severe adverse events in the long run.

Board-certified family medicine physician Francis Kane, MD, was born and raised in Sebring, Florida, where he established his Precision First Healthcare practice.

Dr. Kane's educational journey began at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, where he earned his Bachelor of Science. He then completed the Clinical Clerkship Graduate Certificate Program at Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine in Miami.

He graduated magna cum laude with his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the American College of Antigua College of Medicine in Osbourn, Antigua and Barbuda.
