Dr. Salagubang has always loved sunny skies and warm weather, so it’s no surprise that he chose Loma Linda University School of Medicine in Loma Linda, California, for medical school. He later relocated to Florida and completed his residency at Florida Hospital Medical Center.

With over 6 years of experience in internal medicine, nephrology, and primary care, Mr. Mata developed a passion for preventative care. He decided to embark on the journey of providing holistic primary care services to the community of Highlands County who has accepted him since his arrival from Puerto Rico over 6 years ago. Mr. Mata is a double board certified nurse practitioner in family medicine and nephrology and is excited to apply his knowledge and experience in the acute and chronic healthcare settings in the area of primary care in order to prevent and manage complications that can lead to severe adverse events in the long run.

Board-certified family medicine physician Francis Kane, MD, was born and raised in Sebring, Florida, where he established his Precision First Healthcare practice.

Dr. Kane's educational journey began at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, where he earned his Bachelor of Science. He then completed the Clinical Clerkship Graduate Certificate Program at Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine in Miami.

He graduated magna cum laude with his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the American College of Antigua College of Medicine in Osbourn, Antigua and Barbuda. Dr. Kane then attended the Family Medicine Residency Training Program at AdventHealth Sebring in Florida, where he became the chief resident. Allison was born in Germany and raised primarily overseas with her military family. She attended Christopher Newport University in Virginia, where she earned her undergraduate degree in Mathematics. Allison graduated with honors with a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Nova Southeastern University (Orlando Campus) in 2022.

Alexander Daoud, MD, is a Board-Certified, Fellowship-Trained Dermatologist and Mohs Micrographic Surgeon with additional Fellowship Training in Cosmetic, Laser, and Vein Surgery. He sees patients at the Lake Mary and Winter Park, Florida, locations of Knight Dermatology Institute: A Forefront Dermatology Practice.

Dr. Daoud’s philosophy of patient care is that he and his patients are a team on the journey to optimal health. Education and training

Dr. Daoud attended Emory University for his undergraduate studies and then attended the Florida International University College of Medicine as the recipient of a full-tuition, merit-based academic scholarship. He was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society as a Junior Medical Student and graduated as Valedictorian of his medical school class in 2016.

After medical school, Dr. Daoud completed an Internship in Internal Medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. He then moved to Long Island, NY, to complete a residency in Dermatology at Stony Brook University Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident of the Northport Veteran Affairs Medical Center. As a resident, Dr. Daoud also trained at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Skin Cancer Center, focusing on the detection and management of cutaneous malignancies such as melanoma.

Following residency, Dr. Daoud completed two fellowships: first, a Cosmetic Dermatologic Surgery fellowship at the Johns Hopkins-affiliated Maryland, Laser, Skin, and Vein Institute. Here, he received advanced training in laser medicine and surgery, minimally invasive facial augmentation, and minimally invasive vein surgery. Thereafter, Dr. Daoud completed a second fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology at the University of Florida College of Medicine, training extensively in the surgical management and reconstructive surgery associated with cosmetically and functionally concerning skin cancers. During Fellowship, Dr. Daoud precepted the Resident Cosmetic Clinic, teaching advanced cosmetic procedures to both Dermatology and Plastic Surgery residents.

Research

Dr. Daoud’s research work has been published in peer-reviewed journal publications and textbooks, and he has conducted and served as co-investigator for clinical studies in cosmetic, surgical dermatology, and complex medical dermatology. He has presented on laser medicine, vein surgery, surgical dermatology, and aesthetic advancements at dermatology conferences worldwide, and he teaches the next generation of physicians as an Associate Professor of both Dermatology and Surgery at the Florida International University College of Medicine in Miami, FL.

Personal Life

When not in surgical scrubs, Dr. Daoud can be found weightlifting, practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, playing guitar, and wearing a genuinely astounding amount of sunscreen.

Kristen Laurella, ARNP is an autonomous board-certified family nurse practitioner. She received her Master of Science in Nursing from South University in Georgia, and her Master of Business Administration from the University of Delaware. Ms. Laurella has more than 20-years experience in health care and has extensive training, and advanced certifications in anti-aging, IV nutritional therapy, peptides, hormone replacement, medical aesthetics, and joint injections. Upon graduating and receiving his commission as an officer in the United States Air Force, Dr. Ditz completed his internship and residency in family practice at David Grant USAF Medical Center and the University of California, Davis, School of Medicine. He is proud of his 14 years of service in the United States Air Force. 

While serving, Dr. Ditz was selected to study at the School of Aerospace Medicine in the role of flight surgeon. He was one of only a few physicians certified to go through 9G training required to fly in any type of fighter aircraft. 

Despite receiving numerous attractive offers, including the opportunity to rise to the level of Lieutenant Colonel, Dr. Ditz left the military to pursue his dream of going into private practice. Over more than two decades in practice, Dr. Ditz has developed expertise in many areas of practice. He’s also led seminars and lectures for physicians and other medical professionals across a wide range of fields.

I was born in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and graduated from the University of Turabo in the summer of 2017. Shortly after I moved to the lovely city of Tampa where I have provided medical care to our veterans, retirees, immigrants and the families of the Hillsborough-Pasco counties. I decided to start a healthcare career because from a young age I understood that my vocation was to help those in need, specifically the poor and the sick. A good day at work means that our primary care team was able to deliver great care to those in suffering from acute illnesses and when I able to educate our patients on the ways they can change their lifestyles in order to improve their overall health. I have a team minded work ethic, centered the application of efficient practices in the delivery of quality care.
