Born and raised in Port Huron, I have three children, one is grown. My philosophy in medicine is to help patients help themselves. I can provide my advice, but it is up to the patient to follow this plan. I prefer preventative medicine and early treatment of disease to prevent problems later. Easy to understand explanations regarding disease and treatment are provided. I aspire to stay on time during the day, however I spend the time needed to address the issues. Some days, this may not be an issue, but other days it may cause some delay. Typically, patients know that if I am running late, it is because I am spending the time needed. They also feel comfortable knowing that I will do the same for them if the time comes.

Steffanie Schwutke, MD, is a board-certified Family Practice physician who brings significant medical experience to Rochester Primary Care. The practice serves people living in and around Rochester Hills, Michigan, and throughout Oakland County.

Dr. Schwutke began her career at Providence Hospital, Southfield as a resident. Upon graduation, she practiced Family medicine in the Warren, Michigan, area for several years before joining Rochester Primary Care in 2022. She practices with an emphasis on Women's health and minor surgeries.

John Efthyvoulidis, DO, is a family medicine physician at Rochester Primary Care. He is proud to provide exceptional health care services to the community of Rochester Hills, Michigan.

Dr. Efthyvoulidis has called Rochester Hills home since he was 12 years old. He attended Oakland University for his undergraduate studies, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in political science along with two minors in international relations and philosophy. He went on to complete medical school at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. 

Dr. Efthyvoulidis completed a residency in family medicine at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital. During residency, he served as one of 12 members of the resident council for the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians (ACOFP). He served as chief resident during his final year and became board certified through the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians. 

Upon graduation, Dr. Efthyvoulidis accepted a position with Rochester Primary Care. He is honored and thoroughly excited to return back to his hometown and serve the community which he has grown so fond of. 

Dr. Efthyvoulidis's interest in practicing medicine stems from a focus on preventative and community health, with an opportunity to treat both acute and chronic conditions across various age groups. Outside of work, Dr. Efthyvoulidis enjoys spending time with friends and family, learning to play piano, and learning about and collecting watches.

Ramkrishna Surendran, MD, has almost 20 years of experience and has been in practice since 2003 at Rochester Primary Care in Rochester Hills, Michigan. He earned his medical doctorate degree from Ross University School of Medicine in the West Indies, Dominica, and completed his residency at North Oakland Medical Center in Pontiac, Michigan, later renamed Doctors Hospital of Michigan.

Dr. Surendran holds a Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) certified practice, providing patient treatment that focuses on fostering strong patient relationships to ensure everyone receives the best comprehensive care they need at all times. He’s board certified in Family Medicine, giving him the expertise and experience in working with a wide range of patients, from children to senior citizens.

Dr. Moy began her career pursuits at The University of Virginia in Charlottesville, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in biology. There, she was an Echols Scholar and made the Dean’s List in multiple semesters.

Following graduation, Dr. Moy enrolled at Des Moines University in Des Moines, Iowa, where she earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. Before joining the team at Rochester Primary Care, she completed a residency in family medicine at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township, Michigan.
