Sara O’Heron, MD is honored to provide the community of Peachtree City, Georgia with the highest standard of OB/GYN, pediatric, and women’s health care. As founder of Lifeboat Medical Associates, Dr. O’Heron continues a commitment to serving women and children that stems from her diverse training and professional background.
Born and raised in Wales, United Kingdom, Dr. O’Heron emigrated to Canada to pursue higher education. After completing her undergraduate degree in dance and visual arts, she earned a degree in education. She went on to work with autistic children in the field of special education and helped create a Canadian Broadcasting Corporation program for parents of autistic preschoolers.
Feeling drawn toward medicine, Dr. O’Heron proceeded to earn her medical degree at McMaster University in Ontario, where she specialized in maternal and child health. She went on to complete a fellowship in high-risk surgical obstetrics.
Dr. O’Heron practiced OB/GYN and pediatrics while teaching at McMaster University until the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston recruited her to teach primary care obstetrics. While in Texas, she worked in an underserved area and specialized in evaluating cases of child abuse. Then, she moved to Peachtree City, Georgia to teach full time at Emory University.
In 1999, Dr. O’Heron opened Lifeboat Medical Associates, where she proudly continues to serve her community as a skilled OB/GYN and pediatrician. She still maintains an affiliation with Emory University, Mercer University, and Medical College of Georgia, where she teaches aspiring medical professionals. Dr. O’Heron also continues to work with social services, child placement agencies, and children with autism or developmental issues.
Dr. O’Heron is an expert in the human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine and BRCA genetic testing for breast and ovarian cancer.

Shirley began her medical career at just 17-years-old as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Northside Hospital Gwinnett. She worked night shifts all while completing her bachelor of science degree in Cellular Biology and Biotechnology at Georgia Gwinnett College in Lawrenceville, GA. From there, Shirley went on to receive her master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Anatomy and Physiology at Touro University in New York. Following that, she completed her Physician Assistant degree at St. Elizabeth University in New Jersey.
Shirley serves as a physician assistant not only at Comprehensive Primary Care, but at Colon and Rectal Clinic as well. She is dedicated to providing thorough and detailed care to each one of her patients. She is bilingual in Spanish and is from the Gwinnett area. When she is not seeing patients, Shirley enjoys traveling regularly and spends any extra time with her family.
Himanshi Chopra, MD, is a Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician who holds special interest in preventative medicine, dermatology, women’s health, and outpatient procedures. She is trained in Nexplanon and IUD insertions, Botox ® for migraine injections, and neurotoxin and filler cosmetic injections. Dr. Chopra attended Purdue University for undergraduate education. She went on to earn her medical degree from International Medical University in St. Lucia. She completed and excelled in her Family Medicine Residency at McLaren Oakland Hospital in Michigan, where she was the Chief Resident of her program. During her Residency, Dr. Chopra was very active with the community, something she dedicates to the teachings of her father. She spearheaded many quality improvement projects, research projects, and patient education projects. As a result, Dr. Chopra was awarded the prestigious Graduate Medical Education Excellence Award by AAFP (American Academy of Family Physicians) in 2021. This award recognized her as one of the top 12 resident physicians in the country. She attributes this award to her educators and patients without whom she would not be able to apply her passion. Dr. Chopra is dedicated to caring for, educating, and comforting her patients. She likes to collaborate with her patients and encourages them to be an active participant in their health. Her vision is to help her patients live their healthiest life. Atlanta is home to Dr. Chopra and she is delighted to be back. She enjoys her private time with her husband, family and friends. Dr. Andrea Teodorovic is a board-certified family medicine physician dedicated to providing compassionate, whole-person care to individuals and families across all stages of life. Originally from Vršac, a town in the northern Serbian region of Vojvodina, Dr. Teodorovic comes from a four-generation family of physicians. Her commitment to building lifelong relationships with patients is rooted in this strong medical heritage and a deep understanding of the human experience.
Dr. Teodorovic earned her medical degree from the University of Belgrade Faculty of Medicine in Serbia, completing her studies in 2019. She continued her medical training in the United States through the Family Medicine Residency Program at St. Luke’s University Health Network in Allentown, Pennsylvania, where she served as Chief Resident. During her time at St. Luke’s, she led impactful community outreach initiatives, including free health screenings and patient-education workshops. Her leadership secured a $25,000 grant to support these community health efforts.
In addition to her medical credentials, Dr. Teodorovic holds certifications in Transactional Analysis and Emotional Intelligence, enhancing her ability to deliver empathetic and psychologically informed care. She is also certified in Nexplanon insertion, expanding her scope in women’s health.
Dr. Teodorovic speaks Serbian, Romanian, and English fluently, allowing her to connect with a diverse patient population. Outside of her clinical work, she is a trained pianist and solo vocalist, and enjoys expressing her creativity through drawing and painting. She cherishes time spent with her partner and their dog and embraces life’s simple pleasures—especially sharing good food and coffee with loved ones, a tradition close to her Balkan roots. Dr. Will Epps practices at our Conyers, Johns Creek/Suwanee, and Lawrenceville locations. After receiving his medical degree at Pennsylvania State College of Medicine, Dr. Epps completed an anesthesiology residency and fellowship in interventional pain management at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Epps is board certified in anesthesiology and interventional pain management and has excelled in several roles throughout his career, including serving as a medical officer in the U.S. Navy caring for our servicemen at home and abroad during three combat deployments. He also has the unique distinction of being a member of 100 Black Men of Atlanta, an organization dedicated to high performing professionals in Atlanta.

Barbara Joy Jones-Parks, DO, is a dual board-certified family medicine physician at The Healthy Woman Primary Care practice in Lawrenceville, Georgia.
She is proficient in osteopathic manipulative treatment and a sought-after medical expert contributor on CNN and HLN. She was most recently on HLN as their COVID-19 expert. Along with practicing comprehensive integrative and preventative primary care medicine, she teaches young resident physicians and enjoys motivational speaking.
Dr. Jones believes in the mission of The Healthy Woman. She is very committed to treating and monitoring chronic conditions and preventing severe disease in women. She understands that women have complex medical issues, which can be exacerbated by the stress of life. She is able to use all of her knowledge of medicine and osteopathic therapies to treat women in innovative ways.
When she isn’t doctoring or appearing on national TV, Dr. Jones is modeling, playing basketball, or active with her sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She currently is a model bride in the 2021 Georgia Bridal Runway Show Tour, and she plays basketball in a women’s league for former college athletes who still enjoy the game.
Dr. Jones resides in Norcross, Georgia, and recently got married during the pandemic to her husband Lewis. She also loves to travel.

Dr. Cameron received her medical degree from Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, California. She did further training in the specialty of family medicine at the Family Practice residency in Orlando, Florida. Since then, she has worked in primary care offices and urgent care clinics in both Alabama and Georgia.
In addition to her medical education and training, Dr. Cameron has completed a master’s degree in the field of nutrition. She enjoys educating her patients on chronic illnesses such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, and heart disease.
