I graduated from the college of mount Saint Vincent with MSN in FNP in 2013. Began my NP career at St. John in behavioral addiction medicine since then till now. I belong to AANP and ANA organization. I am suboxone waivered and certified in medicinal marijuana. During COVID I was asked to work with COVID patients on COVID unit and in the ED as temporary Hospitalist at St. John’s. Dr. Christopher Campese, a native New Yorker, has followed an illustrious career path, rooted in a deep commitment to healthcare and medical advancement. In recent years, he has expanded his horizons by venturing into cellular medicine therapies. He is a partner in the firm that opened the first IV vitamin DRIPBar location on Long Island. Building on this passion for patient health, he has assumed the role of medical director for Pepthrive.
Education and Medical Journey
After graduating with Honors in History from the State University at Stony Brook in 1985, Dr. Campese earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Albany Medical College (AMC) in 1990. His postgraduate training included an internship in internal medicine and a residency in Anesthesiology at the Albany Medical Center Hospital, where he notably served as Chief Resident in 1993-94.
Academic and Professional Leadership
Dr. Campese's contributions extended to academia as he accepted an Assistant Professor position within the AMC Department of Anesthesiology, maintaining this role until late 1998. Subsequently, he joined a growing private practice anesthesia group on Long Island, which later became North American Partners in Anesthesia (NAPA), currently the largest single-specialty anesthesia group in the United States. During his tenure as a senior partner, Dr. Campese fulfilled various leadership roles, including Regional Director and Area Vice-President for the NY Hudson Valley region. He also served as the Vice-Chair of Anesthesiology at Cabrini Medical Center in Manhattan (2001-2004) and held positions as Director of the Post Anesthesia Care Unit and Clinical Vice-Chair at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, NY (2006-2019).
In 2019, Dr. Campese assumed the role of Chair of the Department of Anesthesiology at Glen Cove Hospital in the Northwell Health System, where he actively practices as a full-time clinician. In 2022, he transitioned to an employed physician role as part of an agreement between NAPA and Northwell Health system.
Academic Appointments and Research
Dr. Campese maintains an academic appointment as an Assistant Professor at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, the newest medical school in New York State. His involvement in academia extends to serving on the institution's Ethics Committee. Dr. Campese's contributions also include being a Past-President for the New York State Society of Anesthesiologists (NYSSA) and serving as a representative to the House of Delegates of the American Society of Anesthesiologists.
Expanding Horizons
Beyond his traditional medical roles, Dr. Campese's love of learning has driven him to achieve a master's degree in theology at the Seminary of the Immaculate Conception in Lloyd Neck, N.Y. (2006) and a master’s degree in Bioethics from the Alden March Bioethics Institute at the Albany Medical College (2015). These diverse fields of study enable him to contribute to critical conversations and consensus-building on various medical and bioethical issues, including end-of-life concerns and responsible healthcare resource allocation.
Advanced Alternative Therapies
In recent years, Dr. Campese expanded his horizons by venturing into alternative medicine therapies. He and his partners opened the first DRIPBaR location in Long Island, NY, to provide clients with high-quality care in the field of intravenous (IV) vitamins and supplements. Steven J. Salvatore, DO, is board-certified in emergency medicine and is the Chief Medical Officer at Victory Recovery Partners, which has locations in Farmingville, Shirley, and Massapequa, New York.
A Long Island native, Dr. Salvatore majored in biology at Fordham University in The Bronx, New York, before completing a Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine at the NY College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, New York. He then completed a medical internship at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital in New York City and a residency in emergency medicine at the Long Island Jewish Hospital in Lake Success, New York, which is currently part of the Northwell Healthcare System.

An experienced television host and medical correspondent, Dr. Salvatore shared his knowledge on The Dr. Steve Show, a nationally syndicated program. He also appeared on CW 11 Morning News, Discovery Channel, Fox 5 News, Fox News Channel, and CNN as a medical correspondent.

Chris started his education at the State University of New York at Farmingdale, where he earned an associate’s degree in biomedical engineering technology and was inducted into the Alpha Eta National Honor Society for Allied Health. He then completed a Physician Assistant Bachelor of Science at the State University of New York at Stony Brook, where he was the recipient of the Outstanding Professional Service Award and president of the Physician Assistant Student Society.
Prior to joining Victory Recovery Partners, Chris held several physician assistant positions in New York, including a private cardiology practice, vascular surgery, and in a chemical dependency unit at St. Charles Hospital in Port Jefferson, New York. Paolo T. Coppola, MD, FACEP, is an experienced physician who serves as the Medical Director for Victory Recovery Partners, which has locations in Farmingville, Shirley, and Massapequa, New York. Dr. Coppola is board-certified in Addiction Medicine and Emergency Medicine. He relies on his years of experience providing medication-assisted treatment to people experiencing substance use disorders.
Dr. Coppola simultaneously earned a Bachelor of Science in mathematics at New York University and a Bachelor of Engineering at The Cooper Union in New York in 1990. He completed his medical degree at The Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York.
