Karina received her Master of Science Degree (MSN) in Nursing Practice-Family Nurse Practitioner from Florida Atlantic University (FAU) in Boca Raton, Florida. Prior to receiving her MSN, Karina earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in Nursing from Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida.

Experienced primary care provider Emmanuel Isaac, DO, leads the team at Isaac Medical Group, located in Deerfield Beach, Florida. Dr. Isaac makes patient communication a top priority and takes a whole-body approach to care.
Dr. Isaac attended Florida Atlantic University, in Boca Raton, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in microbiology, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in chemistry. He then earned a Masters of Business Administration at Saint Joseph’s University, in Philadelphia, before completing his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM). Dr. Isaac completed his internship and residency in family medicine at Broward Health Medical Center and Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine (NSUCOM). During his residency, he was named Chief Resident. He rounded out his medical training with a fellowship in sports medicine at NSUCOM, located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Dr. Isaac is board certified in family medicine by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) and the American College of Osteopathic Family Practitioners (ACOFP).
Following his medical training, Dr. Isaac worked in a variety of medical settings. He is an ER Physician/Consultant at West Palm Beach VCA Medical Center, as well as a Chief Medical Officer at Broward Community and Family Health Centers. In addition to his work in patient settings, he holds faculty appointments at NSUCOM and Florida Atlantic University College of Medicine.

Alexandra Riguero, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant at Dermatology of Miami in Miami and Miami Lakes, Florida. She has extensive experience in medical and cosmetic dermatology and provides comprehensive skin care for patients of all ages, from pediatric to adult dermatology. Fluent in Spanish and a proud Miami native, Alexandra is dedicated to helping her diverse patient community achieve healthy, confident skin.
After earning her Bachelor of Science from the University of Miami, Alexandra went on to complete her Master of Medical Science degree from Nova Southeastern University’s Physician Assistant Program, graduating with honors. Her early career included hands-on experience in aesthetic plastic surgery and family medicine, giving her a well-rounded foundation in both cosmetic procedures and holistic patient care.
As part of the dermatology team at Dermatology of Miami, Alexandra is passionate about patient-centered care and believes in a collaborative, team-based approach to dermatologic health. She is skilled in diagnosing and treating a variety of skin conditions, including acne, eczema, rosacea, and skin cancer, and she performs thorough skin cancer screenings.
