IN THE PAST, FLETCH HAS WORKED AS AN RN IN THE FIELDS OF CRITICAL AND EMERGENT CARE, FLIGHT NURSING AND HOSPICE. HE HAS TAUGHT AT THE CLINICAL LEVEL INCLUDING: ADVANCED CARDIAC LIFE SUPPORT AND BASIC LIFE SUPPORT AS WELL AS TAUGHT IN THE UNDERGRADUATE AND GRADUATE LEVEL TEACHING NEW NURSE PRACTITIONERS.
HE IS PASSIONATE ABOUT LISTENING TO HIS PATIENTS, CONTINUOUSLY LEARNING MORE, AND WORKING TO HELP THOSE IN NEED WHILE BRINGING CARE TO THE PATIENT AS HE DID IN THE HELICOPTER AND AIRPLANE. She has provided care in Family Practice, anesthesia education, Internal Med., ran a teen clinic, Hospitalist, Emergency Room, Wt loss center & Mental Health provider while developing & managing an Endocrine clinic with an emphasis in Diabetes. All while working with multiple MD's. She is wound certified.
Graduated from University of Health Sci with her didactic education in 2007 top in her medical class. Completed her Doctorate of Nursing (DNP) 2014 from KUMC. She is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau & holds a Post Graduate Certification in Family & Emergency Medicine.
She established/developed & ran the Cray Diabetes Center in Atchison, KS. Retired - Leavenworth VA after 15 years with Home Based Primary Care (HBPC) where she developed & pioneered the provider role in HBPC for Veterans. She is BLS cert & post ACLS cert. She is a empathic & caring for her patients.
