Ruchir Thakkar, DO, is a board-certified family medicine specialist providing urgent care services to men, women, and children in Cicero, Roseland Illinois and the greater Chicago area. He’s honored to play a role in helping families find relief from the stress and uncertainties that accompany urgent care needs.
Dr. Thakkar is passionate about learning and began his studies at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he earned his undergraduate degree in Biology. He went on to study medicine at Nova Southeastern University College of Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He then returned to Illinois to refine his skills through a residency at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge.
Urgent care is Dr. Thakkar’s preferred area of practice. Since completing his training he’s worked in several urgent care settings in Illinois, expanding his understanding of immediate care in each of those positions. Jaclyn (Jackie) is a Speech-Language Pathologist who earned her Master’s degree at Midwestern University in Speech-Language Pathology. Jackie has been practicing as a speech-language pathologist at EYT since 2018. Some recent life changes have brought Jackie out of state, and she is now primarily seeing children via telehealth for the IL and MD branch.
Jackie believes in engaging children in play-based activities to foster overall language development. Jackie is certified in PROMPT Therapy, DIRFloortime® Certified, and has training in Interactive Metronome. Prior to joining Midwest Dermatology, Dr. Delis held the position of President and Medical Director at Ascend Dermatology in Southern Wisconsin overseeing 10 clinics for many years. Dr. Delis is Board certified in Family Medicine with extensive dermatology and procedural training, and certified in "Combined Use of Neurotoxins and Dermal Fillers for Facial Enhancement". He is also a certified Medical Review Officer and a certified Civil Surgeon. He contributed as a Principle Investigator for AbbVie on the "Long-Term Safety of Humira in Adult Patients with Chronic Plaque Psoriasis".
Dr. Delis earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Loyola University of Chicago and graduated medical school from Midwestern University.Dr. Delis takes a special interest in acne treatment, skin cancer detection, psoriasis treatment, eczema and rashes, alopecia, warts and minor surgical procedures. James Hawkins, DO, is a vein specialist certified by the American Board of Venous & Lymphatic Medicine, with over 30 years of experience. At Fox Valley Vein Centers, Dr. Hawkins serves patients living in and around Sandwich, Yorkville, and Aurora, Illinois.
Dr. Hawkins was born just outside of Chicago in Evergreen Park. He earned his undergraduate degree from Benedictine College, located in Lisle, Illinois, followed by his medical degree from the Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Downers Grove, Illinois. Dr. Hawkins then completed his subsequent residency at the John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County, located in Chicago.
Today, Dr. Hawkins is a registered vascular technologist and a registered physician in vascular interpretation. At Fox Valley Vein Centers, he offers effective solutions for several common vascular conditions, including spider veins and varicose veins. Dr. Hawkins routinely performs vein treatments, including sclerotherapy, ambulatory phlebectomy, and endovenous ablation using the VenaCure EVLT® system.
