Dr. Rajiyah studied at the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka, earning his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). He then spent several years gaining experience in internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics, gynecology, neurology, geriatrics, and psychology.
In 1988, Dr. Rajiyah enrolled at the University of London in the United Kingdom and completed an internal medicine and psychiatry fellowship at the University College Hospital. He moved to the United States the following year and completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) in Newark.

Dr. Bernstein graduated magna cum laude with a degree in psychology from Long Island University Post in Brookville, New York. He earned his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Granada, West Indies. While in medical school, Dr. Bernstein completed clinical rotations at Maimonides Medical Center and Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. He completed his residency in internal medicine at New York-Presbyterian Queens in Flushing, New York.
