Gowri Kularatna, MD, specializes in gastroenterology at GI Associates of Maryland in Waldorf, Maryland. She has years of experience in the medical field and uses her knowledge to diagnose and treat patients. 

Dr. Kularatna attended Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, obtaining her bachelor’s degree in biology. She then received her medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore.

Patil Medical College and Hospital Research Center in Vijayapura, Karnataka, India, Dr. Kanuri relocated to the United States to complete her internal medicine residency at Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. She remained in Omaha for her fellowship training in cardiology with a specialization in noninvasive cardiology.
